I don't think the shadow thing will kill you, unless some one is in the shadow with the crosshairs on your head, while your looking at the shifting shadows. LOL

I don't know if past players still play dayz, at least enough to fill a game. Or if BI still has the personal that started the games.

Sure you can rent a server, and password it so only the players you want on the server can join the server.

The devs in the past have said, you can never build a base that can not be breached by other players. at least that is what they intended, but who knows these days. -
good i like to shoot zeds at long range, so i would get to kill two kinds of zeds that way.

don't you know that dayz standalone isn't even half way done, from what they said what it would be when it was finished. well that depends if they do plan on doing what they said they would do. -
Back in the old days one arrow would take out a zed witch made looting more peaceful.

I would like to know also, but last i heard put,ting bows back in is a lot harder than guns, so it will be a long time coming if ever. i do miss bows like we had back in .62 dayz.
