Remember it's not up to players what the game is to be, it's up to the developers what the game will be.

I think you want dayz to be a good game or you wouldn't be here. I have seen the status reports and i have a good understanding of what's going on in development , or at least as much as they have released to us. with alpha it's in development and they saw the game couldn't do what they wanted , so they started over on dayz 2.0 that's why it's taking longer for the game to be finished.

Well you are playing the old dayz standalone the new dayz standalone will start when .63 comes out.

Everyone in the map are infected, you spawn in from off the map and the others who spawn in are not infected. Residents of the map are infected, you are not a resident so you are not infected .

if your lid is open and you didn't open it then a player opened it, in past patches a barrel would despawn after 8 days , but now i'm not sure how much time it takes . i 'm sure that if stuff is gone from your barrel then you were robbed .

we'll have to see what they have in store for us in beta and 1.0 or i should say 2.0

I hope they stick to what dayz is meant to be, and don't add a lot of stuff that has been suggested by players who don't know what goes into making a game. I trust the developers know what they want the game to be.

From your post it sounds like you haven't played since the vehicles are drivable when you find them in a spawn spot.

O K YOU spawn in and take your stuff off and you go from there, if you want it so bad.

Not just any stone will do like limestone, you have to find the right kind of stone, flint, chert, obsidian, stones like that. if you went to a stoney beach in real life it may take you a long search to find the right kind of stone to even to try to make a stone knife. so in game it is faster to do so than in real life.

my internet has been out for the last three days, but before it went out i found a Russian crash that had 4 gorka jackets 3 were pristine 1 damaged 3 jungle boots damaged i military boots brown worn, don't remember anything else.

I think a lot of players will be surprised by dayz to come after beta.

You do need gas for the chainsaw, and heli crashes are in game now. PS, but no guns on the heli crashes.

If you mean that the next time you login you are on the coast, it may be that rented public servers are on one hive and B I run public servers are on a different hive. so if you join from one to the other you will be starting over unless you have a player on each kind of server.

Use disinfectant on the plants as they are coming up out of the ground, before the spots show up on the plants.

just played six hours no crashes no other problems ether, got a car tent and two barrels so far.
