For Vanilla I say: the Devs know what they want to do. Sqeezorz i agree with this. If they pick something that someone wanted in game then ok, but don't think they will put everything asked for in game.

When i first played dayz i was looking for a backpack went into a shed and two players showed up outside, and i said i just got dayz and one of them said "welcome to dayz" and then shot me. so don't feel like you're alone in this. Who knows maybe the next guy will help you to loot up. -
I don'think so , but we will see what the new map will bring. You don't have to pick apples if you don't want to so no problem then.

I'm sure you will get the hang of the game there is a lot to do in the game now and a lot more when it hits beta and beyond . -
That's because you are on the old controller and the infected are on the new controller so the infected are not where you see them. when the new player controller is in game it will be better melee.

dayz standalone is what got me into online gaming i haven't had the urge to play any other ones yet. I for one don't enjoy PVP games. -

I'm 77 live in USA and i have 1696 hours in dayz standalone so far, and i'm legally blind so i have nose prints on the monitor screen.

people have learned to survive dayz SA, by going on low pops or hiding on high pops or don't play at all so that the killers can't find them. some who are good at dayz have no trouble defending themselves, but players like me have gone to private servers. Some of the players who played in the past quit dayz because it was harder to find players to kill or they got tired of getting killed. There are as many stories why as there are players . -
