I think you didn't understand what he was saying in what you quoted from the S.R. i think he was saying that with so called zoom removed that Binoculars and scopes would be more important , than they are now as players use zoom in place of binoculars and scopes.

.63 is not a finished game, it's only the start of the new dayz standalone.

I'm also on board this ship dayz standalone for the long haul, not like others who have abandoned ship, while the developers damage control team are working to save the ship.

Sorry to hear of the sickness that got you guys and gals, I have understood that you are starting all over almost from scratch on dayz , A fact that is lost on a lot of the people who play dayz, and think it will be the same as they have played in the past. this report confirms what i have been thinking, on what is going to be a change in dayz from what it was at the start and up to now. And it will be dayz standalone 2.0

Can't you find a shooter to play there are a lot of them out there.

we will see what dayz is like when it's finished , it may surprise you.

You can bet they are working hard on .63 to have a good playable beta, but this will just be the first patch of the new dayz,, so don't think .63 will be a finished game. this is just the start of beta.

i think it prudent to see what it will be like when it comes in beta.

Guys and gals just remember .63 is the first part of the new dayz, (beta-alpha) baring any problems things should move along faster now to finished.
