I really looked forward to jump back in to dayz again with 1.14 and 1.15 updates. I got the game when it first released many years ago and its nice to se how they improve the game. I like what i see. BUT I only have one big problem with this game right now and that is the food and drinking system. I constantly die from starvation and dehydration. Even though in my last try i ate alot off food. All from a can of spaghetti, a can of sardines, 2 chickens, and drank 2 pepsis. Still i couldnt get the food bars to even yellow or white colours. even if i ate all this i died from starvation after 10 minutes. I understand they want to play with different settings to see how it will affect the game. But i think right now the ONLY thing you do is run around eat and drinking. Food and water should be a important part of the game, but not a eating simulator. I doubt im the only one struggling with this. I have 500+ hours in the game and never had any problem with this when i played in the past.

It was the supermarket in Vybor and i played on the UK 2-12 Public/veteran server i think it was. I looted the supermarket and walked in the small store room in the back. No one was there. Started to move things in my inventory when i heard the fall damage sound the character makes. Then i turned around and saw him right behind me. And then he killed me. I have almost 450 hours gameplay time and never seen anything like it. Thanks for the advice. I will try the feedback tracker.

I had a really good run and alot of fun until something really weird happend. I was inside the supermarket in the small store room. It was empty and then i heard the sound of someone falling/jumping through the roof. And then killed me. This is the first time i encounter someone that i suspect are hacking in dayz. Unless someone found a way to get on the roof on the supermarket and then jump through the roof. Im a huge fan of Dayz and are looking forward for the 1.0. Just hope its just bugs they are fixing and that dayz will not be a game where hackers ruins the game. If someone was caught hacking i wish steam would ban their account for playing online on all games. Hackers have ruined to many games in the past.

It have happened when hit by zombies or when i got shot. The more blood and health i lost the worse it gets, but when i reach the healing display it dissapear slowly. Maybe its not the same thing you are experiencing, just a suggestion

same thing have happened to me, i just eat and drank alot until i got energized and hydrated displays green, and then i got a new one telling me im healing. The blur starter slowly but for sure to dissapear

I bought Dayz Standalone the moment it got out played a littlebit, and took a break until 0.57 was released and i saw all the improvement. So i was very excited about 0.58. I never tried experimental so i went straight from 0.57 to 0.58. First thing i noticed is the new 3pp. I think its alot better than the old one. The controlls feels alot more smooth with the new 3pp. I also think i have a small increase in fps when playing. The game is slightly more optimised or maybe its because the zombies are gone? Spawn system also appear to be alot better now. You will find stuff but you also have actually look, and you have to check every place if u want to find something good. I havent found ammo everywhere like in 0.57, so ammo is more rare and you have to think before using your bullets, or try to escape instead. After around 4 hour gameplay i havent seen a single zombie yet, but i have ran into alot of players. Mostly hostile survivors, but also one friendly funny guy at the airport close to the shipwreck :)

What is exactly an average gaming computer these days? I'm using a 5 year old computer, but still i play most games at acceptable fps i think. But offcourse not new games at max graphics. Is it really worth upgrading at the moment or is it best to wait? This is what im using Two AMD Radeon HD 6970 2GB in Crossfire AMD Phenom II X6 1100T processor 8 GB RAM Monitor: LG 27" 1920 * 1080

try changing the resolution scale, i reduced it from 200% to 88% and got some better fps, you can see the difference but atleast you get some more fps

Hi, Just wondering when earlier patches was released if your fully geared do your character lose all hes gear? or will you keep it? Cause i got some really cool gear at the moment and im trying to not get killed .

Hi! Well after played the game alot lately i think that the focus on how mutch and how often you have to drink water/Soda is to mutch. For example the message says "I really need to drink!" and then i drink 3 100% PET bottles and start running to the next big town, shortly after hes thirsty again, but i ignore it cause i just drank 3 Liters. Just a moment later he's dying from dehydration. And i need to drink alot more water to not die. I know its just a game, but the character need to drink all the time, and i feel i always have to look for water even if im fully geared with a ton off water. In my opinion we should need to drink less water, but offcourse drinkin in the game is important its a survival game after all.

Hi! Im just wondering what things in dayz changes the condition off a item? For example the other day one guy attacked me with an axe and some off my items after i killed him had gone from pristine to worn or badly damaged. So is it any other things that can change the condition off items,clothes, guns, and so on? or is it just in battle stuff get destroyed?

I think the cr527 carbine is a good weapon. Maybe it has a smaller range than the winchester, but if your a mid range sniper or as long as you hit your target you will get some kills. Its very good that they want to have a lot off different weapons, some are better than others maybe, but still its more realistic with all kinds off weapons. Anyway your skills are more important than the gun. you can have the best gear in the game and get killed by a 22 caliber pistol.
