  1. Is it possible to allow the forum to accept and expand our steam community screenshot links? Like this link: http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/393301514959182950/5737DF58D70BC807E84607482BE38118601F5A3E/ Its a bit of a chore to have to re-host every pic we want to share on here. Some people go to a lot of trouble (credits to them) to re-host dozens of pics to make one single post (see this on the 0.59 experimental thread, p.ex.), this would make life and improve the quality of the content on this forum, IMO. Mods, please move this if its incorrectly placed.

    Has anyone been using the crossbow with holosight? Not only does the holosight not work, there are also some graphical glitches with it. Haven't had the chance of using other scopes, maybe there is something in common with the kashtan scope issues I've been hearing about. This was yesterday. Today (with .130937 patch) seems better, but still not good. Reported a bug, if anyone wants to chime in.

    See the Dayz Wiki hunting page: "[...] Cows in the area around Mogilevka and Goats, Pigs, and Chickens at Msta [...]". After seeing that I did catch a goat just North of Msta. It was the only animal I've found in the last month mind you, but they're in. Agree on the desync, since exp patch #10 (I think?) its the best I've seen. Have had the ocasional desapearing gun, but overall I'm much more confident in dropping stuff whenever/wherever I need to. Great responsiveness on actions too, like vaulting and using the quick bar.

    Yeah I get that, but does it make any sense to work like that...? At best it should just be a bolt/arrow specific container that you can wear, like a vest or a holster. I don't see how it can hasten the loading of a bolt to the ramp ("chambering" the crossbow) and 4 more to the rack below it. Either way this isn't necessarily a bug, more like misimplemented content, IMO.

    Have never seen bolt quivers before. Today I found 2 in the same hunting stand... These seem to be magazines of sorts for the crossbow. Which is strange when you can pile bolts in stacks of 5 in one slot, and these take up 2 slots and can only take 5 bolts... Where's the advantage to using a quiver? Shouldn't it be a kind of a holster for bolts, which you can equip over your clothes? Even if it were so, something more like 10 bolts would make more sense... Either way, after A LOT of roaming and searching, finally found some prey: a poor goat in the woods north of Msta. Quietly ended it with my crossbow (finally put it to good use!). Went on to loot Msta, where I found one of those "quiet types" who don't answer back, barely equipped, apparently with no ammo but had a Medieval helmet. Weirdo. Scared me shitless, took the best of me not to blast him in the face with my shotty after asking him 10 times to answer back. Decided to retreat to my patched up home, where I can now go fishing, cook me some of the meat and craft me some leather items. Result.

    I saw rain in the early versions of 0.59. I was surprised by it too, not seen it since. It was only light rain for a couple of minutes, but I did run for cover (for the realz). Here comes the rain. Taking shelter... P.S.: these were just uploaded, but they were taken 20-30 days ago.

    I've seen chipped and fractured legs but I can't remember ever seeing sprained ankle. I saw this for the first time a couple of days ago as well. Unfortunately didn't think of testing if it affected my mobility although I seem to remember being unable to jump, but that could've been just regular Dayz unresponsiveness. Solved with a splint.

    I don't agree. Shouldn't there be an advantage to using cargo pants vs. regular jeans, just like there is in real life? Pockets I mean, obviously. Same thing goes for jackets vs. plain t-shirt, and outer pockets on backpacks. What doesn't make sense is having 10 hotbar slots when you're in the nude with just a children's backpack on. If they ever go towards animating backpack access (meaning you are forced to stop if you want to take/put stuff in it) it makes perfect sense, your choice of clothing is even more important. You can have, p.ex., a small backpack that gives you a lot of hotbar slots or vice-versa. More things for you to consider is a step in the right direction for me.

    Finally got some time in yesterday, on launch the exp servers were PACKED. Lost patience and started up GTAV :D Spawned North side of Svetlojarsk, inside the city, a first for me. Found plenty of items all over the map, tried on the new "sweater" in white and red, looked pretty butch in both if I might say. Got to Turovo, found the camo building on the North side of town is gone, replaced by some ruins. Is that new? Found zero zombies, zero players, zero bullets and clips, but plenty of handguns (carrying Makarov, 1911 and CR75 in my backpack) and was double carrying the whole time, Blaze and repeater (lost that dropping it on the ground) and MP-133 (lost it too, right before logging), but found plenty more, both rifles and handguns. Always on near-full or full (50pax) servers. The good: - It may be just my impression, but it think I saw some FPS improvement. Only went into big cities (Svet) during the night tough. - New enterable buildings. - Quick slots opening up with expanded clothing, like that. Makes sense to have you quick slots depending on the type of clothing you have on. - "Sprained ankle" status. Got that after logging out on a 1st floor. When logging in was on the ground floor, with busted feet. New feature discovered through bug? The bad: - Some parts were unresponsive: opening doors, picking up stuff, vaulting, vaulting and vaulting. Oh and vaulting. - Still prones after vaulting over fence. Thought that was over. - Also goes prone when drinking from canteen. Well thats new... - Still drop to ground floor when relloging (see above), luckily this was in a building with enterable ground floor. Thought that was over. Missed playing Dayz, looking forward to more hours of discovery!
