I for my part wouldn't be mad if they just said "trouble with CLE implementaton. Working overtime on it, thus no time for status report and the like this week, sorry survivors". Takes you, even if properly formulated not more than 2 minutes and would be totally sufficient. It seems, the dev have chosen the hide away mathod instead what I think is a pity. good sunday

eeerrr... it's not about what information I can get? have I said I'd live behind the moon? I said it would be nice if there was a quick "hello report" in any fashion, but thanks for answering the question never asked :D

Yap, wouldn't hurt to have a quick word on the week - or else a quick "no update, because" ... or "working on.57 ... new cool things planned, no status to keep the surprise element". Anything is better than just dropping the curtain of silence.

Hopefully so. A quick "we're busy and plan to bring .57 to stable next week and have one or two surprises in store" would be totally sufficient as a status report, though, as far as I', concerned. No need to make it rocket science, but I think some sort of "we're still here" just comes across very good :)

the feature is already implemented. Just try to activate a landmine, your (unintentional) suicide bombing will suceed most of the time

refreshing - getting tired of all the success stories, a cool fail is a lot more fun and actually a lot rarer to find. thanks for sharing

why do people not cut or limit videos to 5 minutes or so? Each to their liking, of course, but it'd make them a lot easier to watch

I'm with the books. Fireplaces was always rags and kindling for me, so I wasn't even aware of the books being of any news than to leave someone a note ;)

Should DayZ 1.0 feature events and world cycle?

I see it coming. Some clans stashing it all away in their tent city and go sniping for fresh spawns. New people loosing any motivaion to play. I think you should not be rewarded for hopping on at a specific point in time, but that's just me.
