I found a gas can and was carrying it in my hands as I searched around for better gear through a town and I went to click on a gate and missed and glug glug glug glug glug glug I drank some yummy fuel. ARGH!!! After I pulled myself together I found that after growing pumpkins and slicing them and having lunch that I had 20 pumpkin seeds in my inventory and 20 more on the ground with the 3rd pumpkin :-D I would have sat in the roadside hotdog stand and sold pumpkin seeds for bullets if I had a lock and bullet proof glass. :-D A note on driving a truck is to stop every few miles and get out. If the game dumps or resets while your in the truck you will get teleported back to the last place you were standing on the ground. If you drive really far ...well that will be really far. A short walk from there along the same path you drove will get you back to your truck which will usually be where you were when the trouble started.

You can 1 shot them in the head, I have never found the hunting scope when I had a sporter, but I imagine like the other player said, that would be cool. I haven't tried to 1 shot the military dressed zombies yet with the .22 though. I was sneaking through a town popping them 1 by 1 and not getting rushed but then I missed once and that one ran at me and I had to 4 shot him and then the darn crowd of zombies was on me cause I was too close and that was too loud. I dump the .22 whenever I find something more powerful, unless I have 200 rounds for the .22 and 12 rounds for the new rifle hehe. My biggest problem is finding the 30 round mag for the sporter.

Hmm I was a bambi again last night when I got on and even the coast had some gear and loot, I went north and found stuff almost everywhere. Not great stuff so far. But after a stop at a water pump and an apple tree, I made it to the north tracks.

yup,hold breath doesn't last long but ya always with a long shot. I was relaxing in some bushes for about 10 minutes while I made a sandwich and got back and the sway was much better. My point about being not as reliable is that if I had to try to kill someone, it would be 500m or less with that gun. I don't feel the same way as I did the mosin with it's range. Trying to hit zombies at 700m I would have to get very lucky to get a head shot and once they start running around frantic from being hit, they are even harder to hit.

Ya but last night I was stepping over lots of rope. I found the burlap bag and rope and made a backpack. Found another rope and kept it for my fishing pole when I got to a lake. I stepped over three more ropes before I even left that small town. Now that we can make rope, there is no rope shortage?

For some reason I think that would be a lake trap ) not an ocean trap.

Last time I had a mdl 70 with a hunting scope, I had zombies at 500m, anything past that and the sway was pretty bad and my shots were not very reliable. Just me though.

Ah I had 2 composite arrows, but I just tapped the left mouse button, I didn't hold it down...cool thanks )

Was mentioned before yes, someone dropped a rifle onto themselves and it vanished and later they found it in their flaregun. Sounds like a crazy dream, but it's been said :-)

How do you shoot a bow? I found some arrows and made a bow (ashwood stick and rope) but it wouldn't fire and I couldn't find a fire bow key in the control assignments and the stupid youtube video says I'll show ya how to make and fire a bow, ya fire it tada. grrr I clicked the left mouse button and the zombie ate my face.

Last one I saw was in the dome style bunker in the tent area of NW airfield and it was sunken under the floor with just the top showing underneath one the first bunk bed when you walk in. That was May 20th. :-D Lately I've been too scared to go over there with just a stone knife and a pink raincoat. :-P

Did they add going to the bathroom in the bushes when I wasn't looking? :-O

All the servers were 3pp as far as I could see, there are some issues with items sticking, not being able to pick up etc. I put my pistol away into a 4 spot that is open, hit the x and it fell to the floor and sat there visible and nothing I could do to pick it up, prone, crawled, reclogged, cried. The truck handled fine except it felt like an old truck I used to drive that had a bad clutch and every little bump would make it slip and lose power to the wheels, like the clutch had been depressed. I checked lots of places inland, even out in the forest where I happened upon a single house and mostly nothing to find. So far I have a 22 sporter with no ammo or mag. A compass and bandages and a jacket. Barf. Sleep time..)

I ran and drove a long way tonight and never saw a zed or animal and forgot to try fishing lol. I was just flying along the north tracks heading west and flipped it into a ditch...grrr.

You can stack the seeds after you empty the packet. Ya I would like to be able to make a bunch of food and then carry it somehow. There may still be a 50 gallon drum in game people say they have found that takes a very small spot in inventory and gives you a huge space to put things. Um the crops seem to sometimes have a very narrow window between ripe and ruined and no I pick them the instant they turn ripe so I don't lose them. Glad you were able to grow stuff, yes it was fairly recently that they changed the seeds. I tried the packet thing and just said to myself while I starved "I'm going to stand here and fix this crap or die trying" and mistakenly clicked on the seed packet while I was trying something else and the seeds fell out. :-D

Empty the pouch of seeds into an open spot in your inventory, you will have a pile of seeds.

I was on stable 1pp last night as soon as I got home and I was trying out my fist fighting with zombies and I was doing pretty good :-)

It might be fishing season :-) If I wanted people to fish, I would remove the woodland creatures.

I stand on the beach in a sandy gravel area and move a little bit at a time until it says search for a stone whatever. Don't move, search in the same spot until you get a rock, put it in your hand, don't move,look down it should give you make a stone knife right there. I've never tried it anywhere but on a beach with gravel looking sand, even in 2 feet of water. Luck!

Invisible zombie, a story parents tell their children to scare them while camping, just a story, until you meet one. I think it is a zombie that fell underground somehow (my opinion) and the next time I meet one I want to run up some stairs and see if it pops up visible as it tries to follow. I ran from a base in a straight line for about a mile and then made a big wide uturn back to the base and ran into him again about 5 minutes later because I was heading out and of course I couldn't see him so I couldn't avoid him. There a real pain.

heh, ya how realistic is that? Get in a good first punch at the beginning of the fight! Now I hate sunday punchers, but it doesn't count when it comes to flesh eating zombies.

I know it seems silly, but since I have loaded stable and came back to exp several times a week :-O and haven't had this issue, have you tried that? Load stable, play for a bit and see how it goes, load experimental and then see if it goes away?

Someone said chicken bones even, I couldn't catch a chicken though. Can't get close enough to hit him with my axe. ya me too last night no hooks anywhere.
