Ya and it dawns on me that I haven't seen a hunting backpack since the last wipe.

So I didn't know you could have the smersh vest/backpack combo and still wear the mountain backpack along with it? Wow lots of room now.

I would be happier digging a big hole and having that camo'd netting over it and then cover that with leaves and sit in there with an akm pointing out :-D

I was driving a truck last week and since people said there were invisible things in the road they were hitting, I drove real real slow through a big town and hit nothing on a wide street, backed up and went around nothing and further up hit nothing again and it popped my front end up about 3 feet. I inched up to nothing and it started to bounce my truck front end. I thought I was in a low rider with hydraulics and so I inched forward some more and it bounced me me higher and then I was stuck on nothing. The truck was in a continuous shake and I figured I would die getting out, but I did and left the truck. Last night I dropped my sporter outside the west tent city tent with the splosion and it vanished when it hit the ground and was not in the tent. For fun I grabbed the akm, two 75 rd mags, scope, suppressor, rail guard and 6 boxes of ammo and dusted off my new high cap vest. I gunned down the zombies there for good measure and ran into the forest to look for tics.

I wonder if I could survive crawling prone from start. I would have to change positions to stone knife and eat and drink etc. But all travel in prone position? I imagine I would die before I found my first apple tree :-) I have crawled for hours when I had a kited m4 and eight 60 rd mags "don't fire the rifle, someone will hear". I crawled from the north end of nw airfield to the south end and filled my canteens after counting zombies and glassing the tower and truck parked next to it. I crawled into a gunfight at Balota to see and almost got hit by a stray bullet "crawled back out". I think I am going to need a WWI periscope to see over the rocks and bushes while crawling.

You can have my worn hunting scope and my sportster, since I am going to drop it tonight. :-) Currently at work.

You might have the "you got cold thing" after you have been cold things shake until you make a fire and get rid of it, yes even though it doesn't say your cold.

Hot might be the server. I have been running up hills and thru meadows and nothing. When the server I am on was 3pp I was hot within 10 minutes of getting decent gear. Lay down at the top of a hill and cool off and then jog some more.

One pet bottle? I carry 6 :-) Course I have fleas, tics and leeches.

I can see having 6 bottles, that if I found another one, I would make an improved suppressor for my model 70 and then if I found yet another bottle, I would make one for the sporter just for fun. If I recall, I had an improved suppressor on something and it seemed to ruin the aim, maybe it was a damaged bottle etc. I let off 4 shots in a row with the sporter and got swarmed by zombies, I suppose the suppressor might have saved me that indignity :-) Speaking of noise, if you want to check if any zombies are around, squeeze the trigger on an MP5 for a few seconds and zombies from all around will be visiting you for lunch.

What condition is the scope? I'll get some close, medium, long range tries in tonight, since I have a range detector with a battery in it :-O

I found my m65 jacket in a log cabin with a bunch of wool jackets. I found about 10 of those cabins completely barren and I almost gave up looking in them, cept for my rule of EVERYWHERE until I find the stuff I want most. :-)

Ok sneaking around, checking every building in a big town, is difficult. 1PP makes coming around corners exciting and scanning quickly in a busy town full of windows is a full time job. I slipped into that factory area with the water pump west of the empty vybor military base. Outside the west gate was a lootsplosion and inside the gate past the water pump was another lootsplosion. It's hard to pass up the sporter with two 30 round mag's and two boxes of .22. A couple boxes of .308 and some other items I needed. I ran off into the woods and I wondered if that lootsplosion was random or a set fixture, so I did what I almost never do, hopped over to an eastern server 1pp and sure enough the same two splosions, they were not as well stocked as the ones on the western server, so maybe several players had found them on the eastern server. Model 70 with worn hunting scope makes easy 600m shots from the knee, which is very nice. It's not too easy to find something to shoot at that far away and find a place to lay prone without crap in your face. I have made some shots through the grass and the grass didn't seem to bother the round, but it's hard to see. I need to cook this smelly boar meat before it turns on me. :-D Oh ya, the M65 jacket seems pretty rare now, I look everywhere in every town until I find the things I need most. Cargo pants, M65 jacket, model 70, .308's, hunting scope. I found a completed map in a lootpile, that was a first for me. Still haven't found a military vest.

My friend had the same thing happen about 3 weeks ago. She said the guy was humming the star wars darth vadar tune when he punched her unconscious as she was getting a stone knife. Remember the nasty kid next door in toy story? On another note, seems like the game is running well, zombies are hungry, well water is still fresh, I'm still hidden in the bushes with pumpkins and bullets, baring my teeth at any movement.

Sounds like someone picked up every item to look under it and then left and the timer started on despawn and you were standing there when the timer went off.

I was on last night, ran down coast which is something I rarely do, apples, mostly nothing and then a police station and wow what a pile of weird floating gear. Looks like aliens were beaming stuff up to their ship and then they left suddenly. When you find 60 rounds of 357, it's a sign someone wants you to use the repeater. Stuff was in different places then usual, like someone said before, under tables and beds. Next town, another police station floating piles near bye. Graphically no change with display speed, it was clunky in big towns. Maybe this Black Friday I will upgrade my gtx450..cough. I forgot to light a big fire and see if i lose sight of it after 90m on flat ground. I'll try more tonight. Yes, of course I always try to skin and eat zombies after I kill them. I'm sure I am going to find a nice juicy one soon.

Ya but who knows what happened to you while you were gone . Hehehehe! You were probably the star of a big block party with shooting and drinking! Apple shooting off your head. They probably tried graffiti with spray cans, did your helmet change color? :-)

Did you chase it down with pond water? So far, for a couple builds, anything color changed once from cooking has been ok to eat, even though it said raw still.

I like the shovel on my back for gardening and stone knife for all knife functions and can opener to make me feel like I'm not lost in a world full of zombies.

Well working fine means. make a fire with a bunch of sticks clumped together, have an ash stick or the default long stick that looks like an ash stick (been awhile since I did this) put the stick in hand, move the meat to the stick and leave inventory and if your near the fire it will say something to the effect of hold the meat on a stick over the fire, once it turns color once, even though it still says raw, eat!! Eating is fine ) ps. I know you know all this Basher, just a fyi for anyone who doesn't )
