  1. No, I'm sure the game itself wouldn't do that, but I can't say the same about some crappy anti-cheating application called BattlEye that got installed along with DayZ and when uninstalled after DayZ got uninstalled, my Windows started giving me appx. 10 errors every 30 seconds. Anyways, I gave it one more try and the game still isn't working and still gives me the same error as stated in my 1st post in this topic. This is simply ridiculous! Like I already stated above: Game now has thousands of issues reported in the DayZ issues tracker and seeing as Bohemia isn't responding to them at all, this game will not fill like a finished product for at least 6-7 more years.
  2. My PC is 2 months old and all its parts are completely new. I also have a Pro version of Panda Antivirus licensed for 2 years. Besides, what do you mean by "DayZ won't do that"? Game now has thousands of issues reported in the DayZ issues tracker and seeing as Bohemia isn't responding to them at all, this game will not fill like a finished product for at least 6-7 more years.
  3. My simple answer would be this: Either this game will never get out of Early Access or it'll simply get dropped at some point. With so many issues being reported and with Bohemia not addressing/responding to them AT ALL, it'll take at least 10 more years to get this game working as it should. Guess I'll be better off with playing Dying Light which has a way better combat and is far more polished. Not mentioning that at the exact moment today when I unistalled DayZ, I got a bunch of errors stating that some system files have been deleted which forced me to restoring my WIndows 7...
  4. I was considering this option, but after opening a lot of the newest issues on this tracker, I saw that none of them has any reply from the dev team. Since they aren't replying over there to anyone, my issue would either be lost in between the ones that would be posted after mine or I'd wait for months to get a solution from them. Still, thanks for the suggestion.
  5. Launching as Admin doesn't work either. I'm using Panda Cloud Antivirus and disabling it briefly just to check if the game would start then didn't work as well. I'm at a complete loss now. I was advised twice on Steam DayZ forums to write here on the official forums. Can I actually expect any of the devs to help me here? I don't get this error at all. It seems that the game have some kind of problem with managing memory or something like that, but that's all that I was able to understand from this error. EDIT: This topic can be closed. I just wanted to check how much the game improved since October but I don't have time to try and resolve this issue as it seems impossible to troubleshoot anyways. Thanks for the suggestions guys, I really appreciate them ;). Guess I'll just install the game again once it'll be finished and out of Early Access.
  6. Yes I did after every reinstall.
  7. Hello guys, I've just decided to play DayZ again as last time I played it was back in the end of October. I installed the game, I've been asked to agree with EULA, then some application called "BattleEye" was installed and here's what the game's greeting me with when I click play button on Steam: I've reinstalled the game several times, used a launch option which was suggested to me on Steam forums, which is "-malloc=ttb4malloc_bi_x64-maxmem=2047" but to no avail :( . Can anyone help? Why am I greeted with such an error? Any help would be much appreciated.
