As I understand it, the Plate Carrier provides no more protection than any other vest. The real draw is that it is technically capable of holding 14 slots worth of inventory, provided that 4 of those slots are for your pistol. Players who don't like to use sidearms would be better off with a High Capacity Vest.

They are adding a new hunting scope for several civilian rifles. Check the DevTracker. The PSO-1 isn't going away completely. It just will only be on the SVD and the VSS. There is a new scope being made for the AK rifles.

The new dynamic reticle looks nice but is still inaccurate for hipfire :(

I hipfire killed two zombies with a shotgun. I wouldn't even try it with a full auto weapon unless they were right in my face. Hipfire is never accurate and never should be. -

I got into a truck that was just slightly clipped into one of those small food stands. As soon as the animation for climbing into the truck finished: You are dead. It was on experimental so I wasn't terribly heartbroken, but still. -
I disagree. My camps (plural) have been untouched for 3 weeks. You just have to think like the person who might be looking for your camp.

Yeah, but if people are hopping and stashing faster than I can do my more organic approach which involves traveling around on one server, then I have no chance.

I believe most of the current scarcity is because of lootsplosions. It's screwing with everything, everywhere because item limits are being reached in a bugged way. -

I would like accelerated time more if the shift from day to night and vice versa wasn't so fast as to be ridiculously unnatural. Driving along in pitch black dark and then a small bit of brightness then full day time in a matter of a minute. It just breaks immersion a bit. -
I don't know. I used it some and found no issue with it. If you are decent at getting headshots, I find it quite pleasing to use. I wouldn't use it without my 1911 ready to go, but still, I like it. I like the firing animation, the sound, the accuracy, and the fact that the gun is not commonly used. The fact that they are adding a scope to it is icing on the cake to me.

I cannot find: An AKM Any AK mags that are not ruined PSO-1 scope AK rail handguard Any Heli crash with actual heli crash loot Every single police station, police car, firehouse, and military base on the public 1PP hive is picked clean. I'm almost sure of it. -
The CR527 is already an excellent rifle, imo. I have one in my tent with 3 magazines waiting for 0.56 and the new scope. That is going to be excellent. Plus, those of you talking about the Sporter with a scope are dead right as well. Unleashing 30rnd mags out of that thing at range should be very satisfying.

Obviously, the parameters of the idea can be refined. Players can and will adapt knowing that such a system exists. Have to log out soon? Top off your water and energy levels. It would not need to apply to fresh spawns or to your campsite. -

Phased loot. For 15 minutes after joining a server, no loot appears for you. Problem solved. People wanting to play legit will not be affected, provided they take that factor into account before jumping to a new server. Server hoppers will be slowed and inconvenienced considerably. -
I have found two in the last couple of days that had chest holsters. chemlights, bear traps, a UN helmet, and some other random junk. They aren't spawning proper heli crash loot and every one I found before it had nothing. Also, the loot piles were very far away from the chopper itself, something like 100 meters.

I have an idea that might fix everything. 15 minutes after joining a server, on which you did not create your character or on which your base is not present, loot does not appear for you and is in a "phased" state of nonexistence. Numbers can be tweaked, exact mechanics can change, but phased loot is the only way to make it not interfere hard with everyone who is not abusing the system. -
The OP's idea isn't great, but you are aware that hordes with a hive mind AI are incoming right? That isn't speculation. It's been confirmed.
