    I completely agree, and frankly, fuck anyone that doesn't agree. It ruins the game if someone respawns when you're either A trying to revive them, or B trying to take them hostage. It gets to the point where I have to stand over someone's body and scream in the microphone "DON'T RESPAWN, I'll SAVE YOU!"

    Hello fellow survivors of the Standalone! I have returned with another post, I've been gone for quite some time and I'm very tired, so i hope this doesn't turn out sloppy! :D Screaming Zeds: Alright, lets crack into this. I would like the zeds to have extremely loud ear-piercing screams, that also sound gory (Like choking on some human flesh or maybe gargling blood). Stamina and speed: I think that the zeds should be faster then they are now, not way too fast, but faster in general. They of course need to be able to be fatigued after a period of time, to balance them out, also because they are just infected humans. Tackling: I'd be a lot scarier if these motherf###s could tackle you if they get close enough, something like sinking their teeth into your throat and ripping out your vocal cords, or beating you to death. Stronger, more damage done: This is important to game play, so it will be colored red! :D. I personally think the zombies need to be able to break our bones a lot easier, and should be able to damage our clothes, make us bleed quicker, and knock us unconscious easier. Such as, a quick blow to our leg to send us flying into the cold hard ground, just to murder us by pounding us like a flesh paddy. Of course, Anti-stab vest and helmets should reduce the damage done to the player, also depends on how thick the clothing you are using is. Weapons: Alright, I also think that zombies should be able to pick up light handheld weapons, such as a knife or baseball bat. They should be pretty inaccurate swings and slashes, but deal the same amount of damage compared to a player hitting you with one. Following into something that's a bit more controversial. Handguns, the zeds (Only police and military zombies) should be carrying pistols. To make this fair, they would be extremely inaccurate with the gun, not know how to reload or how to fix a jam. After they run out of ammo, they throw the gun down on the ground in anger (which you can pickup). Detection: Alright, another game changer (Whoo-hoo! :D). They should be able to detect the scent, and trail left behind players that are covered in their, or something Else's blood and guts. (You get covered in blood and guts by attacking another player sloppily or a zed sloppily) Food that's open or fresh uncooked meat should be easy to detect, if the zed detects any of these smells, they follow the scent and mercilessly pound you to death when you're enjoying your beans. Along with footsteps, and they should be more sensitive to VOIP and messaging (Counts as talking in a realism way) Gunshots should automatically make them sprint towards the sound from miles away, along with grenade explosions and cars driving. Population: You were probably getting sick of seeing red everywhere and were ready to complain about it, hehehehehe. I don't want to be able to turn a city corner without seeing at least 5 to 8 zombies inside and outside of buildings. Because, it was once a fully populated city. Damage Received: Zombies should be effected by pain, and unconsciousness. Say, if a zombie is hurt, they scream in agony, making the other infected and players run to the noise location (Making you want to use the stealth mechanic already in the game a lot more.) Unconscious zombies, picture this: You find a dead freshy along the road, and he has that one thing you want. You go to grab his loot and run away, like the little thief you are. Oh wait, there was a zombie you thought was dead right next to him. Next thing you know, you're down on the ground after being tackled and being beat and eaten to death. Barricade breaking: I think the zombies should be able to break down closed and locked doors (I think this is already being talked about, but what-ever) The time it takes them depends on if it's locked or not, and how many are breaking down the door. BONUUUUUUUUS!: I'd like it if zombies could rip you out of a car, if you don't have the door locked and you're not moving. Alright, Thanks for reading the post.     *Cough* Realist game *Cough cough* Sorry man, not to be a dick. I know how it feels to have your idea shit upon. But, frankly, this is the wrong game for this kind of system. But wait, before you drink bleach, I know for a fact, in modded servers this will be a thing.

    I completely agree with you, I recently started playing the mod again. I really hate killing zombies, just to have some respawn nearby and ass rape me because I wasted my ammo on the others.

    While i like the idea, i don't think it fits in with realism. What you're probably looking for is an incapacitated state, where what you listed happens. You know, heart beat lowering, raising, fading in and out of unconsciousness. Incapacitation is caused by a shot to the lungs, broken rib cage, the force of a shotgun blast winding you, and extreme pain in general. If one does not receive help soon (Depending on the wound and severity) he or she will either loose consciousness, or die.

    Police Kevlar Vest

    Hey, I thought it would be neat if we had a basic Kevlar vest that spawned in police stations and rarely in civilian homes. The current plate carrier does not work at all, the only vest that works protection wise right now is the press vest. Kevlar vests are pretty popular around the world, usually used by military and police. I figured it would be cool if Kevlar vest spawned commonly in police stations. I believe it would make more sense than only an anti-stab vest for the police (The anti-stab vest doesn't even protect you right now!). The vest could have a similar design to the anti-stab vest, maybe even look the same. The vest can only absorb small to higher pistol rounds. I'm thinking that it could take about five to six dead-on 22. caliber bullets before becoming ruined. Maybe four 9 mm caliber bullets before becoming ruined. Two to three 45. rounds before becoming ruined. Last but not least, one to two 357. rounds. Now moving on to melee protection... Fists: Kevlar vests usually can weaken the force of a blunt instrument or fist. The vest should not stop the fist and or bat's damage completely, but reduce the damage and bleeding probability. I don't think blunt weapons should damage the vest in any way, maybe turn it to worn. Pointed Weapon Damage: Kevlar is not really designed for knife attacks, but can stop some knife hits from penetrating the armor. I'm thinking that there will be a 50/50 chance that it'll stop a stab attack, slash attacks will ruin the vest in four to five hits. Slashing Weapons: Axes, Machetes, Hoes (No, not your mother) and others. I think a Fire axe should ruin the vest in one hit, and have a possibility of causing light bleeding. Machete: I'm thinking one to three hits to ruin the vest. Well, that's about all i can think about at the moment for the vest. Feel free to add anything, or correct me on some damage modules! Please, don't be a dick, or just say "No" for no apparent reason.

    I completely agree, but sometimes it will stop a knife blow, depending on how hard you hit the vest with the blade. Military knifes punch right through, but kitchen knifes seem to have a bit more trouble getting through.

    I agree, i don't want Dayz to be well, excuse my french, raped by little squeakers with their MLG mods, 10000 cars in elektro, harmless zombies. But i would love mods that make the game harder!

    Hello survivors of the standalone! I think that CS gas (Tear gas) should be added into the game! It would be rare/uncommon and it would spawn in general military and police stations and cars. It would work like a flash bang, you pull the pin and press g to throw it. EFFECTS: Extreme screen blur, motion blur, coughing and inability to run as long as you used to, while you're inside the gas. It would take about 30 seconds real time for the effects to kick in RANGE AND PARTICLES: The particles would be a gray thin smoke. The range would be effective for 12 feet max. DURATION: The smoke would stay for at least 2 minutes before disappearing. PROTECTION: A gas mask WITH a filter will completely protect against tear gas. A balaclava with partially depress the effects of teargas, same thing with a respirator + glasses. HEALTH: If a player is of poor health he or she may go unconscious when be exposed to CS gas. Feel free to add or subtract anything in the replies below!

    This is a simple idea, I think it would be nice if a player produces the "Death rattle" the second he dies. It would not effect realism, as it can happen in real life.

    Hello survivors of the standalone! I think it would be peachy if we could put unconscious people in the "Recovery Position" via scroll menu. The benefits of doing this : The recovery position will lessen the chance of the player dying while unconscious due to natural causes, such as choking on blood or bleeding out, hitting their head while unconscious over and over again due to brain going haywire from damage, or not being able to breath while unconscious. Putting somebody in this position will slow down bleeding a little bit, but not much. Here's a picture of the position i'm describing. - What do you think?
