No. This is realistic, not everybody knows how to throw a weapon accurately or SMITH. It's unpractical too. These posts really annoy me sometimes. It's the 21st century. And why drive players away from military? In real life if you knew there was a military base near by in your town, why would you not go? What idiot makes poor quality makeshift non effective items? Who would just stick with melee in such a gun driven community? smh at some of these posts, the only thing i agree with on here is to make weapon shock damage higher for knifes. -

While that is true for most headshots, my father was in the swat team a while back. His buddy was shot in the head, but the bullet somehow swirled around his skull and went through the back of his head. No penetration of the skull. He just went unconscious and was completely fine afterwards.

Hello fellow survivors of the standalone. I think that zombies should start bleeding (Like players) when injured with a sharp object, as in a knife, or bullet. asuming their sickness is similar to player getting sick, they would bleed out faster than players depending on the injury. An example is, say i were to stab a zombie with a machete, it does not kill the zombie, but the zombie starts to bleed, the zombie chases me and bleeds out and dies after a short period of time, say 2 to 5 minutes. I figured this would make sense because the zombie, (last time i checked) is a human, but infected. Since it's a human, it can bleed.

I wouldn't make them ALL locked, if they were all locked i imagine that would piss off quite a few players. Besides that, i love the idea and i hope you get many beans!

The game is realistic, not battlefield. You can't fucking bring somebody back to life once they're dead! Even if you did most of their brain cells would be gone and they would be practically retarded. Once you die, everything shuts down. Your heart, lungs, every thing that kept you alive. Maybe, the only way i see this working is from blood loss. If you get to them within 2 minutes max and give them saline, epipen, cpr they would come back. If they do add this, it should be EXTREMELY RARE just like it is in real life.

People are going to disagree with this by the mass, but i'd like to agree with you. Vanilla servers will be empty, experience with these kinds of things.

I believe that unconsciousness should also, like death, result into the body going completely limp. (Aka ragdoll animations) So you can't tell straight off the bat that you've killed somebody. So sed person has to take the risk of walking up to the body and checking it's pulse. It would also be more realistic, instead of this default fall flat on your face animation no mater what direction you were shot from.

I would also like this effect for regular death, but with no coughing,No movement, just the other effects. It's a little more interesting than "white flash, wait.... You are dead."

Also you have less of a chance of getting it if you're wearing a gas mask, or that white respirator cloth mask that you can find sometimes. -

Hello fellow survivors of the standalone! I believe that players should be able to duct tape other players mouths. If your mouth is duct taped you cannot use direct communication or type at all. Duct taping somebody's mouth would take 50% of the roll of duct tape. If the tape is damaged the player's character would make a "mmhmhmm" muffled sound when trying to talk. If it is badly damaged players would be able to talk, but their voice would be a lot quieter. So, please let me know what you think of the idea in the responses! Feel free to add/change anything!

Hey guys, i'm a little confused here, i'm aiming to go to balota, so i run up to a sign that says balota, but it has no arrow pointing to the direction to go. Does no arrow pointer mean that i continue on that same road i'm already on? Thanks. -BillnyeTherussianspy

Hello survivors of the standalone! I have had this idea for a while and forgot about it, i now remember due to "Dale Gribble"'s post on "Ability to make masks from rags". I think it would be neat if we could make a balaclava-looking mask with any t-shirt that we find. This would be convenient due to good balaclavas and other masks being rare to find. All you would need is one t-shirt to make one, and if it is in mask form you can untie it via scroll menu or inventory if you need to make rags or put a shirt on due to coldness. The mask would look like something close to this -

Hello fellow survivors! I believe it would be cool if there could be a few changes to tying up people with rope! Here is how it would work: If sed victim does not have a weapon in their hands and they are not moving, they can be tied up. If the victim is looking at the attacker in anyway (This does not count for third person back view) they cannot be tied up, unless their fists are raised and they are not punching, or if they are doing the surrendering animation. Tying up somebody with the rope would take roughly 5 to 10 seconds, this would also activate a visual animation and audio cue to indicate them being tied up. The only part of the body that would be tied up are the hands (with the same animation of them handcuffed.) The only ways to get out of the rope is A. Struggling or B.Getting cut out. Struggling out of the rope would take much more effort than getting out of handcuffs, depending on the ropes quality. To get cut out, a person simply would get an option to (Cut off rope) in the scroll menu if close to the victim. This would only work if the person has a knife, any kind of knife excluding the improvised knife would work. A machete,hatchet,saw,chainsaw would also work.
