The vest will also be called "Plate carrier" when you find it.

I think it's just random, i don't believe there's a set amount, i may be wrong. Good luck on hunting for it! But if i were you i would just go for the press vest, it's more common, it protects from every caliber of bullet in the game, and it has carry space by default. If you want a press vest, go search train stations, police stations, and hospitals. Have a good one! :)

Also, be careful, it doesn't seem to protect from anything yet, maybe like one makarov shot and you're done.

Yes sir, but if you want to make it easier on yourself and find a bunch, swim to the prison island and there's a crap load.

By the way, Here's a tip. Stick to green or black clothing. Do that and i promise you'll survive a lot of encounters. Look for protective items, always take any helmet you can get. They all protect you from at least something. Press vests are your best friend, they let you carry things, and they protect you from every bullet in-game at least once. To find a press vest, loot hospitals, train stations, and police stations. Always stock up on food and drink, you should always have medical items on you, two of the last tips, if somebody is shooting at you, zigzag until you find a safe area to hide. If you get in a fist fight you should lean (Q,E) to avoid getting hit in the face, 3 face shots is a knock out. Also if you find a rock and pepple texture on the road, scroll and click "Search for stones" once you get one equip it in your hands and scroll again and click "Make improvised knife", that way you can open cans, cut rags, cut branches, and inflict serious damage on bandits!

I agree, but i prefer the press vest with the police uniform, it protects against more, and it's blue. :)

Hello, I think that a Stun Gun should be implemented into the Standalone. The stun gun would be an uncommon item. It would be found at police stations,police car crashes and general military barracks. It would look like the X26, but can be based off of any. I don't know if the Russian M.P or police have a certain one they use. Effects: Once a player is shot with this they would get the "I'm in extreme pain" status, and a new "I can't move" status. This would also add an Overlay screen effect. The overlay would be a Distorted Blurry transparent grayness over the victim's screen, with intense motion blur. The player would also be instantly incapacitated with the default unconscious animation. The player would also be forced into first person when shot. The player would also have some light bleeding. If the player gets hit in the head with the taser probe he would go instantly unconscious for a minimum of 10 seconds. Worse effects: If the player is of poor health AKA: Low blood, sick, In extreme pain" They have a chance of death, or severe unconsciousness. Time effective: 20 to 30 seconds. It really would depend on health and where the victim was shot. Ammunition: Cartridge, it would spawn in the same areas as the stun gun itself does. Range: It would be effective up to 10 or so feet. Last: While a player is incapacitated he may be looted and interacted with, Given rags, injected, ect. What do you think? I was thinking they could add both, is it exactly practical? No. But is it realistic due to the story behind it? Yes. The military are camping out there. The military has military police. The police them selves carry stun guns.

GP-7M Soviet CBRN Suit I know it doesn't completely cure it, but i wasn't sure on how it would effect your character in game.
