Okey folks, we have the same problem as 5 years ago. Zombies goes through walls/doors easily.

How do you deal with zombies in 1.12? I can see they are quite stronger then before which is very cool addition for me. However, I wonder how do you loot town if you play solo and you only have meele weapon? I know you can kill them by killing them from behind but most of the time, they hear me before I approach them even tho I'm crounching. Is it normal nowadays to go slowly through townor am I the only fool who goes slow through towns to avoid aggroing zombies? Should I loot towns without shoes to be more quiet or this is not the right approach? I really have a truly hard time with zombies playing solo, which is awesome because I actually have a reason to team up with people.

You don't get it @The Apocalex. Part of the game is to find bugs and try to avoid them. I'm suprised that devs didn't just put couples of broken guns in game. If they would do that, imperfectKoala would probably say "game is good, there are plenty of guns, just avoid the broken ones". The same goes for zombies. "There are many hordes in the game and zombies works fine. Just close your eyes and avoid zombies on the roof and the once that are stucked on the fances". It's funny how many requirements must be met to drive a car. First you need to play on proper server (apparently 90% percent of the servers are not suitable), then you need to play on low pop servers, then you need to play only vanillas and not modded one to work properly and on top of that you must drive very very slow in towns and not shift above 3rd gear. Works just fine. As intended. PS: Dayz is the best survival game on the market. No doubt. I love this game to the fullest. But saying cars are working just fine and as intendent is just a delusional and untrue statment.

Playing on empty server is not for me.

At least in Arma 3 cars drives on the road. In DayZ...they just fly. You are delusional if you are saying cars in Dayz are okey.

"Zombies in the game are good". Oh god, please stop! Half of the zombies are either stuck on the fance or on the roof. But other than that, I agree with you.

We are angry, we hate, we are dissapointed, we are frustrated but at the end we still love this game. It's just shame it would never be what we all wished and expected. If only cars and zombie hordes would work as intendet I would be sooooo happy. I understand frustration because it is justified but man oh man, this game is addicted anyway. It's like that with Dayz

After 3hours of running around Chernarus solo, I was one shoted from unknown position in Novaya Petrovka. I saw nobody the entire time. Killed on sight. What a crap and boring way to die.

I was thinking. Maybe this fire thing is a feature. If you got burned it's not that easy to get rid of fire of your clothes so fast irl, so maybe my clothes were on fire even though I step far away...also I was wearing Winter Parka which can be very flammable. If this is the case, this is very cool indeed Maybe the solution here was to take all my clothes off before I burn myself to death. Can anyone confirm this if it's true?

I tested again. Same animation, same situation and nothing happened. Apparently this happens randomly or I was just unlucky.

Fireplace bug is known? I just lost my 12h long character because I step on fireplace and burned to death. I step away from fireplace immediately for approximetly 10-15 meters. EDIT: If it helps, before that I was in "lie down" animation, but I stand up and went away immediately I started burning.

I know, I know, they fucked up a lot of roadmaps back in the Dean Hall and Brian Hicks days, however I didn't heard any news about their plans for 2021. We know, the devs team shrinks up a lot, most of the team working on Arma 4, but Dayz is getting again a popular game (mostly because of mods) and the game itself still needs some ground breaking fixes such as cars, hordes, etc... Any news about roadmap for 2021?

What I want is that devs are more responsive to users questions and to provide answers.
