I think/hope the zeds will be harder when they sort out all the glitches with them.. I read somewhere that they run on new animation while our character still run on the old ones so the way they interact is a bit off..

Depends what server you play on... the 3 privates I frequent all seem to have loads of gear, not really had a problem getting off the coast it just takes more time. Yesterday for example... Berezino spawn.. found clothes, and water and a pack, then soda, and a frying pan and gas stove then a sporter and ammo the killed a cow and got steaks.. I was hunting for matches and got kos by some knob with a shotgun... yeah I died but not through starvation.... Cherno spawns are even better if you know where to look... fresh to full energised/hydrated + AK + mags etc etc without going inland or to any military places...

The mosin is much harder to come by than it used to be.. but you come across them now and again in random places.. police stations are good for stripper clips and the ammo is also seems to spawn in random places. But yeah they are about as I have one I found after the update... can remember where I picked it up though!

You payed money to buy a server because you can't find guns and food on a computer game where it's supposed to be really hard to find guns and food... Just seems a bit of a waste to me? What are you going to do in your own server, on your own? Just gear up and shoot cows? Or gear up and hop to full server to pvp? I'm not trying to take the piss I just dont understand why you would do that?

The best way to do it (if you dont want to actually look for it) is to follow this guide.... 1) Go to your search engine of choice 2) Type in 'How to find loot in dayz 0.55' 3) Find loot OR Look at any one of the threads on this board ON THE 1st PAGE RIGHT BELOW THIS ONE!!!!!!!!! If you get a cherno spawn you can get full health + AK + ammo and mags + water + pack in about 1.5 to 2 hours. Very easy. I just did it today then tried to be a bandit and failed lol..

The thing it.. It was a well thought out dupe from intelligent players, really they could have just robbed me.. If they wanted to kill me why not just sneak up on me and kos?

I've got nearly 200 hours in game and still get lost and find places I don't know :)

I normally play on my own. I found if you team up with a stranger you normally die.. I'm too trusting so I'm better on my own. I lime to think of myself as an explorer. I will kos if I feel threatened. I try to interact if I can but most people want to kill you and rob your stuff. I try to survive as long as I can with each player and carry what I need in my pack never setting up camp, I suppose I'm a nomad.... Perhaps this will change one day and I will set up home somewhere in the hills in the north.

Some people rent a public server to farm gear then jump onto another server and kill all the fresh spawns. They keep their server just for themselves so they can gear up....

Just agreeing to disagree would be ok... I understand that people are annoyed that the game they bought and loved has changed BUT I dont get why they get so angry.... its just a game after all. Report things that are broken, dont start a thread slagging off that the game is this or that.... on the flip side those people who just say.. get over it or learn to play etc are just as bad and only bait those who are already angry. There is clearly something wrong at the moment as I found it pretty easy to gear up but some people are reporting NO gear at all on any server they play on. I suggest we list the servers we play on to see where the discrepancys are. For instance if I and Sebidee play on a server I have found a lot of gear on we will know if the difference is really down to his play style... I can do this tomorrow night

Im not being aggressive mate, but everyone has given you heaps of advise but you dont seem like you really want to take it on board.. anyway I dont want this to turn onto an argument as it will just get locked :)
