Agreed. I didn't know if player's coordinates of log off would be recorded. Thanks for the suggestion. I wonder, once the server tools are released, how coordinate data will be logged.

With .61 we have coordinates in the debug window. I'm assuming this information is coming from the server. Is there any chance that coordinate info would be available or logged client side? I thought that this might be in one of the games files similar to the last server played. I've been getting into mapping with python and wanted to map my travels across the map.

Are there any games that you are using for inspiration? Current or older games. What games, besides DayZ, do you enjoy or are currently playing? Are there any design ideas that you know won't make it in but you are hoping for the mod community to create? Any suggestions for mods? It's been awhile since I've read about player tracking mechanics. Are blood trails, trash, foot prints, etc. possibilities? Can you provide detail on why or why not? Has there been any internal discussion about collectors or vanity items being added? Examples being a zippo lighter, coffee mug, whiskey bottle, etc. Items that have no real purpose but to be collected. What are your work computer specs? What are your personal gaming computer specs?

This little laptop is pretty tough. I still need to try the newui before I'm done testing dayz on it. Surprisingly Skyrim on low gets a solid 30 fps. I was too excited to capture the performance that I didn't setup my phone with a stand or anything to hold it up. In the Cherno clips I'm holding my phone with my chin. :)[]

I recently installed Windows 10 on my Acer C720 4GB Chromebook using the steps found in /r/chrultrabook. Everything works fairly well and so I decided to test DayZ. The only thing was that with DayZ you can't/shouldn't run it in Windows Test mode. Test mode is needed for the unsigned Trackpad and Keyboard drivers to work. So I uninstalled the drivers and got out of Test mode to test DayZ. Here is the AutoAwesome that Google photos created from my video on my phone. 30s Here is the longer version of me running and shooting in Kamy and running and axing in Cherno. 3:44 The max FPS was around ~30 with everything on low or disabled. It would dip into single digits here and there. I was able to chop an infected inside Cherno without problem. Edit: Looks like the Intel Celeron 2955u supports DX11. Here's hoping for gains on this thing with DX11. :)

DayZ Underground was the server.

My two mistakes were losing my side arm to the shotgun guy, who I think held me up without ammo. Should have tried a quick draw to wound. The second was bandaging early. They were clearly still on top of me.

You are correct. We got too excited to get the party started. :P We found it in Three Valleys with only one wheel and everything else. Found the two double wheels going inland to Msta and Staroye. Couldn't find a single wheel for the front. We decided to go to Elektro to find the last wheel on the way (Kamy). Got shot at in Kamy and stuck after passing through Elektro. I got shot but respawned in Kamy. Found a new friend and told him about the party. The rest of the group found the fourth wheel in Elektro and came to pick us up.

The newui provides some additional FPS for some. Some have said that the newui is needed for interacting with vehicles, though I don't know how true this is. Reload animations are bugged with the newui. Precision is needed in the newui, meaning you can't just drag items around and expect them to go where they should. You need to actually drag the items to the block you are intending to put it. No statuses other then messages. Try it out and see for yourself.

The party bus on Blue Waffle last night was an epic party for sure. I think we had 12 people at the height of the party. Thank you to the DJ providing the "We like to Party!" loops and the "Wheels on the Bus" remixes. We had been rolling on just 3 wheels for some time. Plus the dumbass driver (me) forgot that SHIFT provides a boost. Small hills proved to be impossible. Finding the 4 wheel was essential. Not even getting shot in Elektro could stop the party bus. In fact it helped me find more party'rs. The party eventually ended in Svetlo when a downed tree invisibly reached across the road. The party goers got restless after trying to clear the downed tree with chainsaws unsuccessfully. The chainsaws turned on the party. What a night. :lol: :D :thumbsup: :beans:

Maybe allow backpacks in place of panniers?
