LOL sounds like one creative tweaker. Cant call them hackers because they don't hack they tweak the files they purchase to benefit the fact they have no balls, and cant play the game normal. One on one they lose, but are able to use hacks to better edge the fight. Seems pointless doesn't it going one on one against skilled more devoted players doesn't it? Id much rather play the Sneakydude run up and knife you before you have a chance to see what's behind you. Yet again unlimited health, ammo teleports and worst of all knowing every location on the map makes it too easy for them to win. I guess its cheaper then renting your own server. Hey did I say that out loud!!! Still made me laugh about the music part. At least you didn't get shot through walls :( Glad you had some spirits left :) -

Question about server restarts and resets

There is a small chance you can lose gear by disconnecting and reconnecting to soon, or simply rejoining after the time small glitch. I recommend following the small bug rules, and simply logoff if your going afk. Don't let yourself be attacked by Z's. -
I have to agree with him on some level. FPS games are much more advanced in the gun play. Yet if you can smash the keyboard enough maybe the gun might point upwards hehe I think once the UI, keyboard mechanics are bound correctly you might see a different game play then we have currently.

I asked the question of another tonight, and i was told, "it was all planned he would leave after 1 year contract basis". But this is third hand knowledge and I am not aware of anything regarding this. I think anyone leaving prior to completing a visionary project like Dayz would be hard on anyone. -
Threw one tonight and it felt like a nuke going off. I was on top of the firehouse, at NWA and the building off to the right. 1 didn't blast at all, but the 2nd one made one heck of a bang. Killed 1 zombie and the other stuck in the wall lived. So its very hard to say if the one was a dud or it was damaged and didn't go off. I enjoyed the show though :)

LINE 23, COLUMN 4 error bec scheduler log file I was testing the epm rcon program and I reloaded scripts and those messages came up in the acplayer admin control.

I put in #reboot instead of #shutdown. I still don't see the messages in game that I can verify. I also tweaked it one last time so I hope it works. (new server) etc.. if your wondering.

When did people start hating on the game so hard?

I wish they would talk to the guys over at ACI and see if they can help, or punkbuster combo like the other games uses. It catches the stupid ones first then waits to see if we can catch any of the big fish. http://www.anticheatinc.net/forums/index.php punkbuster.com I sent the links to a couple of admins maybe they will at least go talk to these people. Not saying they all are good or bad but I agree there is a rampart issue with some of these hacks. Old ones will be caught first then wait to see the sales fall from the hacks. (new ones will be made) Otherwise the review from me is good. I like the game, a tad boring just running around on a private hive but it gets me into the learning the game. What I didn't like was reviewing some of the teleporters hacks... Aimbot through walls etc.. and yes friends of mine had the issue a few times. reviews from others on the issues. The same problem was with WarZ when I first entered into the game. Boring as shit too. Other then that I hope to see more and more improvements in this game. A group of us purchased our own server and locked it down. Eventually opening it up to others or the public. -
Does a great job, this must be the modded version he is using to make his concepts from? I do like what he is working on, and he has the #'s down at the bottom key mapper. I wonder why we still haven't gotten that done yet!

Persistence on sometimes spawns loot in the 30-40 ranges of netting. If its a loot explosion. Persistence off, is best because the loot keeps spawning correctly. But that's my experiences. Losing this is getting to be annoying when the server crashes.

We have enough grendaes to have a small war :) 400+ hrs makes sense in public servers, since spawn hoppers would grab them before you. pso scopes are a pain it seems, acogs etc.. High Cap vests NO problems, its the 16 one that's pretty rare.

Its very rare, but no not impossible. Our server gotten one but no clip yet. Also the 22 pistol we have 3 on the server and no clips. M4 pretty common on heli spawns, and the aug sometimes spawns. frags, flashbangs, 16 vest/bag etc sometimes can be hard to find. Siliencers, acog's etc could sometimes be a pain too. The only thing that I find almost impossible is getting the rare gun clips and if someone finds one they have no room to save it. I guess we can look at these items being on someone's trophy case and it was rare to begin with. Someone Sported the m5, and last night I found a clip for it. I kept it for that individual. Myself I like the ak74u as my vest gun, and sport the mosin around. If I switch up ill go with the m4 fully geared out. Hey what's this I heard? no bipods in the game? BTW this type of look we are talking about very rare to rare could take over 100 heli spawns to drop one. If your lucky you may get one before your shot. I know because our group owns a private-master shard. The Clan will eventually go public, shard in the future. Lately it seems the rare spawns are the trucks, and gas tanks haha

That's an internal squad thing that needs to be addressed. If they are going to play on a scheduled night together they should be notified to make sure their characters are at xx location the night before. This game has been based on you, and your character surviving. I don't think it was intended to be a group of players all teleporting to xx location to meet up for coffee. I too hope the dev. team doesn't add anything more then the Trucks/cars/bikes etc... 1. Well what about a bus?

Intel really did approach the dayz team to optimize the game? I didn't read anywhere that intels platform ran better. I have an intel i7 and it runs the game nicely, you do feel the load when entering the city at max rendering. The video card is hard to tops 780ti SC edition. and I believe the game has been optimized with the latest dayz NVidia configuration.

BEC might have been turned off, should be working now. I cant see anything else that may have caused the scheduler to not work.

Time to reduce run speed with vehicles inbound?

Speed is fine, relative to the map distances. Find good anti cheat clients and get the keyboard short cuts working in game and everything else might be able to be adjusted. Its already cumbersome to hit keys and actually work. So much more should be fixed then worrying about speed reductions. -

I like the concept of this for crafting etc... I don't like the one the dev's working on atm, if that is still the look I saw. The current one at .52 looks fine on my 27 inch monitor. 16:9 stretching doesn't matter to me atm.

I've been happy with Vilayer so far. The cost was 90.60 CDN per month. I find it pricy for an alpha server. The server we run is 30 man, ssd, with DDOS protection. I find it runs very well concidering the bugs with the crashes.

Still having an issue getting it to display in game. Going to check the times, and the delays. Could even be a missing part to the script.
