    Should my FPS be THIS bad?

    I recommend going out and seeing if you can get 16gb instead of 8 you will be happy you did. Hopefully you don't have 2x4gb sticks. Look for matching ram if you can. Otherwise your into a new 16gb kit. The 16gb will be a great performance increase in games. SSD are nice but some aren't seeing a huge difference over the 7200rpm drives.

    If they are opening it to the public you cant just ban players. That's the agreement of my current server host. This is why I made our master shard private. The other server I am thinking of getting will be a whitelisted one setup. I think that's the best one could do, this will help combat the hacks until then. What else can you do? but to ban people and advertise as open public server, they didn't pay the month fees like everyone else does to lock it down. The server company deserves to shut them down LOL

    This is very true big. This is why server operators need screenshot tools with md5, and such checks so they can submit them to the right people. You should not be randomly banned for just joining these servers. That is just so wrong.

    If I can get my own way, server owners might have the tools to help submit screenshots of the hacks being used. Bans will be VAC ones, but whom knows what the future will hold. I am all for this topic. Just it isn't the right place, best to announce it to the companies.

    It is really rude to kick players, on public hives. Private well that's a different story. There is a reason why they are locked. But if I find a hacker = boot don't give a flying fuck.

    I thought of an other idea. Since crafting is being introduced more. Dyes of different colors. or 4 white, black, brown, green (add more later) This would allow us to color simple colored clothing and or items we want.

    Just incase ill break it down for the readers. Dyes that can be used black, white, green, brown, blue, red, pink, yellow, orange Items that can be color dyed only Shirts, jackets, pants, hats, backpacks, vests. Leather products such as bomber jackets should have that ability too. Spray paint items are basically limited to certain guns + items. So if the dev.'s took the same technology in spray paint and add a few more colors to the list people could use that to paint clothing type items too. make more sense to what I am asking for? Instead of making a ton of different items like black jackets, hats and bags.

    Clothing dyes you must be thinking of spray paint. :) Id like to either they made up black clothing, or I can paint it white if I choose too. Since spray paint is not what we use to dye clothing. dyes would be used. Same with backpacks, and some of the other things. So if we could spraypaint all clothing type items including bags then I would be cool with that :)

    The bug is the no message. I've gotten it to say your freezing now (that part is working after I re spawned new in 52). Sorry I am an expert now at this one. LOL Fires do work well.

    Super high ping (400+)

    Check to see if your antivirus is loaded. Most of us hardcore gamers turn those features off when playing. Just saying. I don't believe it is your connection, but you could unplug the router and modem for 3+ minutes and refresh it. Most of the time someone is getting 400+ ping it is on their end. Nobody else is getting this type of problem that I know of, unless its DSL or on wireless connections.

    That's hard to believe. Something was turned on just for you then:) - can confirm not 1 in 100's of hrs searching over 20 different people.

    spawn Loot-missing problem

    Before I go around posting a missing loot spawn bug, I need to verify these loot tables. .52 was announced we would get pistol silencers, and m5 compensators. I have been working with many people on persistence off server and we are unable to determine the loot actually does drop. So has it been actually turned on or is it not enabled? I hope one of the dev.'s can in fact verify the loot table is correct for .52 We have spent many, many hours trying to locate anyone of these. Not sure about stone knife as nobody checked for it. Heli spawns to military locations to every small house and nobody can verify even on the forums so far.     spawn Loot-missing problem

    sounds like 3 weeks of asking verifies not 1 person has found 1 item of these or anyone can confirm. Either they where not put in or there is a bug preventing them from spawning. "Next time I have a 25 cent piece going to drop it and see if you can spend 100+ hrs finding it" Edit= Sent to the bug reports as nobody can confirm on general, troubleshooting threads etc..

    I don't know about you, but there is some decent features of the guns and physics that make some of this gun play interesting in FPS type game. Then again I haven't played Arma game really. So if its the same, and physics are exact then I do like some of the features in Dayz. I know what you mean about FPS game play and ladder type play. It wouldn't be my first choice either, but it definitely would be cool to try.

    I cant believe I just explained something.... speculations of why the dev's did this. Man I bet the dev's if they read this are thinking "wth, how does he know what we are thinking" Sorry my bad, wasn't thinking. Only speculations on my part.

    Sorry for having to break down your questions, and or statements if implied. No the community makes DayZ into PVP. The Dev's only gave us the ability to shoot one another. Because its PVE items, we need these things to survive. A normal thought put into anything to survive in the wilderness to avoid PVE and PVP aspects currently in the game. They don't want it to be Arma type game, Its a mixture of PVP and PVE to survive in a world full of both. Map this size gives us the ability to decide what we do or where we go. I am thinking it was to space out the PVE environment not just about PVP aspects currently going on. It also could have given us the ability to load in 100+ players. I am not an arma player, but I did purchase arma 3. Isn't this a mod made into a standalone currently using the arma 2 maps they used? It then would make sense to keep using the same map, as it flowed nicely from the Mod to the standalone. It gave players familiar environments.. But I am not 100% sure about this only speculations on why the map is so big.

    If the game could be? It would take a much needed re haul of the actual game. Not just the coding or the alpha but a complete rethink of the zombies. * Having physics in the zombies is cool. (and very much over due) * Having end death animations is even better. Another thread posted the death animation of a player shooting you in the face was really needed for this game. Best thing to have, it thrills us. More zombies could attract more "fun factor" With Random zombies packs going from one city to other in search for human flesh. PvP has to be in the game, its the unknown that thrills us. AI can only do so much for us, but to allow the players to control the environment is what happens. Make the environment perfect for us, and we take the next steps to introduce the game to ourselves. Not trying to quote a tv series but its an example: Bandits are what makes the show walking dead, not just the zombies the PVP factor. You have to be ready for the unknown. The unknown is the Player sitting in a building waiting to kill you. Or running around the corner and a fully loaded bandit is ready to shoot you.... It makes us re think our position and shoot back. Both PVP and PVE are heavy in this game. It has to keep going that way or else it will die a short death just looking for loot the way the game thinking is now. Zombies will not be enough unless you can thrill us to death... I hope they make the buildings random look different as well however the engine may not support that much of a load change. Unknown. My current thinking would be to allow us to control the environment, but have all the cool features like End death Animations, Good UI, Physics in zombies/ragdoll, groups of zombies or very large groups moving to another city, Random outcomes of zombies, 3 zombies, Could be eating a deer, or a very large group chasing a boar. Even have a Zombie being mauled by a bear. Those things are rather cool to see. A new set of random events. However you have to put a very large focus on PVP, allow the players to control that unknown and make the game come alive. I come from games like Everquest, FPS, and many more types. Just my 20+ years of online pve / pvp gaming thoughts. Sneaky
