I would like to see the following things added to servers. (sorry tried searching for related topics-none found) Private master, slave owners suggestions. A) 1. Just Player Log files, of players names, guid, ip and ping. Nothing more needed. It just has to be a clean file. EDIT Rcon tool, allows you to see GUID's so its reading the database. _ I think we can use this to add people manually for now, but a nice tool would be best to just hit add user, ban user etc..... button to the whitelist, instead of copy/paste user info. (just looked at it closer) 2. The ability to have an add on installed from people like ACI whom check for MD5 changes, Screenshots etc.. for the admins to log in and see. http://www.anticheatinc.net/forums/portal.php and people like http://www.pbbans.com/master-ban-index.html I know I have sent the links to the dev.'s prior but its important we express our concerns. 3. The easy ability to submit those screen shots to the correct people for a complete VAC ban. (very important) 4. The ability to parse information from the server such as kills, zombie kills, stats more or less. (just for those that want it) 5. The ability to export your inventory information only, pic format character log sheet. (would be just for those that want it) 6. Tools to allow whitelisting of xxx players much easier. We can click on the name, guid and IP of that individual and add them to the whitelisting file. So in the current server app online, we would have a small app that reads in #1 for us and a button beside each name that we can just clean to add to whitelisting or ban. 7. A special Forum area setup for Private Master, Slave owners, and public to help combat issues we see. This would be a special area to be invited you must submit your server information and whom you are. This way, we can fight against problems for the community. We pay dearly for these things to have ruined by others. 8. Understanding moderators that have experience in all of the above fields in regards to running a server, hacks, and other things. B) Public shards, the ability to do screenshot submissions. Shouldn't need too much more, other then installed tools to help. These are just off the top of my head, if you can offer up facts, and good suggestions please help me list them here. Parsing information is important now. I think it sounds like more having organisms then anything LMAO Good one.

It would be helpful also if we had in game messages of 1. XX was terminated by XXX and was recorded into a log file on the server. 2. XX connects to the server, which is already recorded in a log file.

we do but you have to filter out server messages, and other type messages. No I am not offended. Its funny to you because your younger. I too was like that when I was in my 20's rolling with the boys, just not every 2nd word. unless we where extremely drunk :) That language actually annoyed me, I tend to turn it off now.... guess I am getting to old huh?

Duped means copy of gear, not always true. Sometimes it just is someone got killed or died and stuff pulled off of body, or just simply it was a duped. Not everyone cheats in the game.. they actually do hunt helicopters all day long.

I've been looking for a proper guide on schedulers on Vilayer hosting servers. I need to find a perfect example of server reboot messages. However some of the information I find is about Mod'ed servers and not about SA servers. Suggested script to reference? Thanks in advance.

Thank you very much Van, The 50 man hive is up and rolling... funny its pinging better then our master atm. :) I will definitely get in contact with you once we are ready to roll out the whitelisting part. Right now its in beta testing to get everything perfectly running. Sneaky

I have found 2 just the other day in the 2-3-4 car garages. Some prior, in police stations, and in other buildings. Not an item really stocked in military buildings.

Thanks van, The reason I ask is because we just got the script working great and I was pulling my hair out trying to get the new codes to work (and I was doing it right all along) I just am waiting for our private 50/50 server to be available and I wanted to make sure its up to date so that nobody can screw around with it or problems with whitelisted hackers. I was thinking of whitelisting it due to protecting the gaming community. (should we?) I will have to follow advertising it to keep it open as the 3 admins we currently have been donating to the master hive. I don't want scripts to be a problem if we open it up to the public to play on. It will be a PVP server, and the master hive will be clan members not wishing to do pvp on it. Or testing or running practice ops whichever. As you know many of us look for bugs on our master hive, and report our findings. I am sure you guys do the same things.

As a business owner, I would be surprised you would get an update. It was Christmas holidays, on skeleton crew, so all work gets placed on hold unless they had finished up prior to the building being shutdown.

Deal is they are paying half the rate I am, and given the same or they think the same privileges I have. That's not going to go over well with the private hosting servers. just saying. Sign me up!!! where is the list :)

I see, Yes that is an official server not a private / master shard huge difference. They do not have that right at all. Not to keep the topic going but here is the rules incase some don't know where they are. Public shard You may perform the following actions on your server o Restart server o Kick abusive players (harassment, cheating, exploiting bugs)  Be aware that this can tread a fine line, and if you are found to be violating this rule your server may be disabled until the issue can be addressed. o Turn the server off Private Shard You may perform the following actions on your server o Restart server o Kick players o Ban players o Lock/Unlock Server o View BEC Logs o Turn the server off

Ours is private locked, and we have only ever seen 2 smokers. We restart it to remove the problems with the rain crashing bug. But never have seen 3 or more in the same server area. Sometimes we find 0 and search all over the place for one.

Hmmm.. so people that are paying for public servers are booting players and breaking the rules. Yup id escalate that too. I just didn't think it was so bad off, even 1-2 is understandable but more then that? See I haven't had that problem yet playing on a public server. Then again I have been locked away in the cellar for so long LOL
