Oh yeah, it's not gpu overheating, even in full flow, I only hit the 55degree mark

Hi guys, new to this site but after having the same problems as you all, thought I'd get involved as I'm about to go crazy!!! Win7 64bit I5 4670k Gtx 970 g1(4gb) 8gb ram Problem driving me mad, sometime 4-5 hours play, sometimes 5 mins. Flushing vram doesn't work but, I have another quick fix...... When you're stuck on desktop, press etc (as if your going to abort) then press alt/return. This puts game to windowed mode and allows you to carry on playing. But it will crash again at some point. Ive tried all the above fixes apart from underclocking gpu and nothing, completely ruined a brilliant game...forgot to mention, problem only started after I upgraded gpu from a gtx 750ti
