As of right now, there is no way to change the color of the handgribs. Maybe in the future but as of right now, nope.

It's a bolt action long range rifle. The damage is moderate, range is fair. The only thing you might have to worry about is the accuracy. But if you hit what you're shooting at, you'll be fine.

If you don't have certain mods downloaded, you shouldn't have to worry about them. If you don't play on modded servers you shouldn't have to worry about them. Don't want to play with mods? Then don't. and stop worrying about them.

He could've been a server admin. He could've seen the logs. Hoo knows.

Who knows. But unless he made physical close contact with you, then he received your names illegitimately.

You're profile picture is my reaction to what you just said.

The current engine shouldn't be able to handle it, but in time, if you were to get shot in certain spots, you'd leave marks whenever grabbing items, opening doors, laying down, etc. But blood would never just pour, or even drizzle off of a person to allow someone else to follow, unless the injured person was to interact with the world. Imagine getting shot in the back before sprinting 40 meters down a sidewalk and hiding in an alleyway. Whoever shot you would not realistically be able to see a 'path of blood' to your location, but maybe a small splatter where you were hit, and a small 15 inch trail from where you were hit so they know the general location you fled in. After getting shot and running to that alley, the only way you'd be able to leave marks for others to find is if you're still bleeding before (as stated above) interacting with the environment.

Agreed. It would be in my favor, too. Because I double tap. Even if they are dead. -
Popular locations to go to..

The NW Airfield is odd. But trust me. People are found there all the time. Maybe not with the current version of DayZ because loot is kinda messed up, but after it's fixed you'll see people there once more. -
Popular locations to go to..

For PvP on High Pop: NW Airfield, Elektro, Cherno, Vybor For PvP on average Pop: Any airfield, any military base, Elektro, both Sobor's (Stary and Novy) But if you want good, genuine player interaction, head to novo, or Svet, or Zelenogorsk, or Pustoshka. Berezino's good too. -
Love it. Need it. Breathe It. Sharing this suggestion on DayZRP. Giving you Credit. +1 most definitely. My post: (Credit goes to you) CLICK ME

As previously stated, doors for homes and such should swing inwards; giving the owner of the home the convenience of not having to reach out to close the door. But for larger buildings and such, they are supposed to swing outwards (as stated above) incase of fires and situations like that.

I'm not too familiar with this CPU, but from the looks of it, DayZ should be no problem for it.

Are you for real?

In an apocalypse, I could imagine very few leaving their gun on safe. And if you really wanted to, switching to fire mode could be done discreetly.

The new 3pp camera and FOV Slider
therandomredstone replied to Julianwop (DayZ)'s topic in General Discussion
I use third person mode just to look at my character and the things he has. I will admit, I remember at a time whenever first person was all I played. The wary always had the advantage. You could sneak up on anyone, because the "If you can see them, they can see you" law actually comes in place, unless you have a player peering at you over a wall before taking shots at someone he would otherwise not know was there. I don't mind for either camera modes, but if I was looking for fairness over anything, I'd play first person. But I don't mind being looked at over a wall. It's when they let me know they're there, That I can take action :p -
A ghillie suit is a piece of equipment. OF course, if you are laying down in the same spot for two days on a mission or something like that, you should be fine. But constantly moving in a ghillie Is a nono. Once persistence is enabled, I will have a ghillie around me at all times somewhere, and when I have to use it I just set my things down and put it on.

If your backpack is completely filled whenever you log, the items will not rearrange when you log back in. What you could do, is just go pick up random junk when you log, and chunk that shiz when you log back in, whenever that might be.

Let's talk about "hide sites"

There are things to think about before placing a tent; the area traveled to and fro'. I personally place my tents SW of Dolina, Staroye, around Mogilevka. The woods and surrounding area is completely untraveled. You might have a person or two travel through, but they'd be more focused on getting to where they're going, rather than having spare time to look for a tent, that 'might not' even be there.
