My first kill was after I had been playing alone, and avoiding players for THREE WEEKS, when I had gotten a magnum, mosin, military gear, etc. and thought I was the most decked out person in the world. But he would've tried to kill you. People like you are rare; you learn to handle yourself, and not make the mistake of trusting people. Respect.

I could see rail-pump cars being added into the game. They'd be an uncommon, but lucky find. I don't think its on the Dev's to-do list currently. But as the legendary BigMike said, I think the modders will get to it first. Listen to that dude. He knows his ways with cars, games, and can make beer. ;)

take creature's advise. If you are looking for some laidback gameplay, find a private, open server, that has a good 1-2 players on it always. No more.

I play this game with a controller. I have a configuration that allows me to play it PERFECTLY and all of the controls are fit in. Ask me ANYTHING and I will be sure to answer each and every one of them. and Thank you steak for leading me to this post.

Umm.. no thanks. Part 1 would mess up the game entirely for curtain groups and communitys. There is a so many different things that could occur in this game that this "restriction" would make DayZ unplayable for everyone. And for part to... trolls... trolls everywhere....

ask yourself, if you got shot directly in the head from fully healthy to dead.. how would you die? wouldn't you have to take damage? and if by another player.. wouldn't they had to of given you that damage? We are talking about kill logs, sir. Why wouldn't a point-blank shot to the head by another player, show up in the logs?

Stick to a small number of servers. Pick three and make sure they are all public, and the same mode (regular or hardcore). Next time you die or get reset, I'd just re-install DayZ. And don't join servers that have just been reset. If a server just reset, wait till there are at least 10 or so others before you join. Not much else you could do.

from the information given, there are many things that could be the reason to this. So you will have to troubleshoot the problem. What I recommend you do, is completely uninstall DayZ from your computer, then reinstall it. Once it is installed, initialize the game. (start it). Once you have started the game, do not touch ANYTHING and let it get to the main menu. Then wait a good 10 seconds and back out to your desktop (exit the game). then go and follow my previous directions

If someone gets shot by another character and left to bleed out on their own, It will not show up in the logs. It will only show the kill in the logs, if the last (x) amounts of points before death, were given by another player.

No. Not only would it disrupt the immersion on role-play servers, it would also be against the "simulation" in this zombie apocalypse "simulator". It would make some things easier, but for DayZ. Uhh.. No Thanks. I bet you will get some other good suggestions and topics going, though! But the majority has ruled out this suggestion a loong time ago. But there could be ways to still have this. for example give private hives the ability to enable or disable this feature, give YOU the ability to enable or disable nametags on your person, or others, etc. But the idea of having this idea be forced upon all players no matter what, (which I realize you did not say) would be a big no, no.
