The current "fresh spawn" and all it's traits are just placeholders. Stats, traits, conditions, etc. EVERYTHING about freshies will soon be changed. Stay updated on the development.

Some good PVP in electro. People were speaking of a man with an m4 in electro. That drew some attention because there were 5 or so others with sks' and Mosins. I killed every.single.one of them though! and we ate them! (my friends and I).

Cameras are a developer's dream come true. They are one of the HARDEST things to add into an online multiplayer game. (or atleast so I've heard)

You should set your in-game res to the same as your desktop. Buut if you have a bad computer, it could make your game laggy. If you want to increase/decrease you field of view, find the "field of view" scroller in the "config" tab on the main menu. And to answer your question, no. a higher res will not increase/decrease your FOV.

That is an off brand RP server where former banned members of better RP servers go. Where did you think your post was going anyways, posting it on a forum where the admins for that server might've never set foot inside of?

You have to eat until you are light green energized and at least dark green hydrated. then after 5-10 minutes you should get the "healing" status effect. Every Time.

It has to do with connection. For some odd reason, whatever you tell the game to do, it will lag and take like 2 seconds to do. BUT when its "lagging out with its major delay" it tries to do what you currently want it to do, but it cant. So its back and forth with lag and trying to connect. I am not good at explaining things like this but it has to do with the servers you play on or your connection.

I don't play on high-pop servers for just this reason. Everyone wants blood. or loot. And have you considered shooting in first person? It should help.. cheers

This has been suggested many, many many times and all I can say is that it will be a sacrifice. Two weapons would realistically weigh you down ALOT. so with the games current build. It would ruin it. (especially with the types of CoD players we have) so if this is ever added, it will be after the stamina system is implemented, and THAT will be implemented after more vehicles are implemented and plus, you will have to make an improvised holster of some sort. So it will be a AWHILE from now probably in Q3 or Q4. But as of right now, it is discouraged because of all the one man army people running around Chernarus. Get used to what you have right now.

The other day it was pretty cold outside, so I wore a tank top, a t-shirt, a flannel, a brown hoodie, and a hunter grade jacket and I was perfectly cozy! I could lay down in this 20°F weather on the concrete if I wanted to. Anyways in the game I believe you should be able to layer your clothing. for example: You could have on a T-shirt You could add on a regular long sleeve shirt You could then put on a hoodie then a raincoat and finally a down jacket on top or a t-shirt, tactical shirt, hoodie, then a Gorka jacket. In real life I think anyone who has a good, strong, lean, physically good body, can easily layer this much clothing and stay warm. Thoughts?

Depends on the fuel, elevation (maybe), steepness of the terrain you are trying to accelerate on, the type of v3s.. If you take all of those things into mind.. and it STILL won't go past 30.. then you gotta find a different v3s. cheers.

It is a video game. people play video games, to get an artificial "quench for adventure". That's why video games are the #1 entertainment industry in the world. If someone wants to be in a group that takes things seriously like "if they were really there" then by all means, do so. Who are you to judge how other people play their games? and come complaining about it on forums where no one gives a hoot? If you want to contribute to the development of this game, then do so. But if you are just going to get your behind hurt, then take it out elsewhere. Not on forums where people go for information and advise. Thanks.

Weapons take a lot of work and time to implement. They want to add in guns, that have their own "wabam" about them, before adding in countless, random guns that people won't care too much about. Just wait. In time there will be more guns. Probably not the exact guns that you want added in the game, but guns. Cheers,

There wil; be updates every two or so months. and if you want statistics, you must keep track yourself. DayZ isn't an arcade game, so the community doesn't really care about "how many zeds have you managed to kill?" I wish we had more people like you that enjoy the game. It really is, quite fantastic. But you will soon realize that people are way worse than any climate or zombie. Play on servers that have a good 3-10 people. If you find someone, they will be scared and try to kill you. But high population servers are full of fresh spawns, looted buildings, douches, and hackers. The best people that play DayZ have already found a community to hang with. I play DayZRP because it offers a genuine experience, and killing on sight and RDM is not allowed. DayZ is a fantastic game. It really is. But everyone makes the mistake of wanting to find others. If you loot the gun houses.. one of lets say three or four holds a 1911. So if you spend an hour along the coast looting houses (like the gun houses) and you go through a good 100-ish houses.. you are going to find ATLEAST 4 or 5 1911s. And that's only in an hour. So 50 in two weeks isn't that hard to accomplish.
