You're right. I only play 1st person. Not even on servers with Both options. Its a cheesy way of playing because you can see everything without putting yourself out there. Ive killed numerous players in the beginning by Just lining up behind a building and waiting for Them to come within range. Or peek over fences... After a while you realize how unfair it is to use or get used against you. 1st is Just way more realistic and challenging. Didn't know The Day Before was only 3rd. Have to rethink on that 😉

Still here after 7 years. Guess that's obvious enough for what i think of the game. Now if only i could get my bow back and more hunting mechanics then my love for the devs would be over the moon 🙂

I for one dont hope so. Too many times was I not able to loot my kill because it ragdolled under/through An object. Or into oblivion. Combine that with desync and it Will do all kind of crazy things. Dont get me wrong i liked how it looked, Just not how it turns out most of the time.

I like this very much. Silhouets of Friends need to be kept eye on. Communication is very necessary. Light sources actually make sense to use (at your own Risk ofc) And when you get working nvg..... Whoohoo 🙂

This is my go to when in desperate need of something Sharp. Make sure to linger around or backtrack the trails for the Stones to Spawn. If they're allready there keep An eye out, means a player Just passed through.

I think way back in the original starting values it was something they thought of in relation to the Day/Night cycle. The values Just never got decent attention or scaling through the development process.

If you take a look at the Day/Night cycle which is not a full 24 hours then how is it not in ratio to have to eat every hour/2 hours? Time is accelerated, so why not Hunger/thirst? No opinion Just food for thought.

Use the DayZ launcher. (,Dont know if you are on pc or console. I only know pc) Click the servers button on the left. Then find the server you play on. Click it. Use the setup DLC and mods button that appears in the Bottom of your screen. (Red outlined box) If this doesn't work go to the mods button in the DayZ launcher. It Will show you all mods. Or needed mods. Manually load Them up from there. Otherwise remove all mods there. And reinstall Just those that you need.

Please no Skins. This is not fortnite/CS/pubg Why not if your mate has money to burn Rent your own dedicated server(s)? if there is a demand for it it Will be full in no time. Just make a advertisement in the server section; OCEANIC based server. Keep it vanilla or mod the hell out of it. They removed a lot of servers where there was low traffic. Your region was one of them

You have undead (zombies) and you have sick people (infected) there IS a big difference. You have slow zombies, you have fast zombies, you have intelligent zombies, you have dumb zombies. But then again you also have infected people. And depending on which movie/series you Saw that's your frame of reference. If you look at what @Tonyeh said 28 days later "zombies" are Just infected humans (still human Just badly sick) and they are smart quick and inraged. If you look at the walking dead, those are braindead undead who are mostly slow and unintelligent. But emphasis Lies on they died. Now the DayZ "zombies" are infact people who suffered a virus that led Them to An inraged state who Just want to kill the non-infected. They still have most brain function and body movements. Its been so since start, numerous people complained about it. Never changed. You can even jump to livonia servers if their within the hive. Its never gonna change. Might aswell pick a good private server and stick to that. That's what most of us did. Bare in mind some people have multiple accounts so they can still attack you with multiple characters they positioned around a city/town. So you're never safe. But hey its DayZ. Always be vigilant!! 🙂

They are infected not brain dead zombies. Big difference. So i totally disagree with what you said. When you Just start on the beach it should be a Challenge. Not; ow Let me Just run Them out. To easy to lock them in houses anyway. If you want to compare with other games or suggest they go through the basics of zombies as you call them go watch world war Z. Slow? Stopping? Easy? Nope. Shoot a gun. Be ready to deal with a lot of angry infected. Not using stealth. Be ready to deal with a lot of infected. Change your playstyle. Its not supposed to be a stamina run and survive marathon

That blue Screen computer restart that you described sounds like BSoD crash. The so called Blue Screen of Death. Usually its hardware dying. So probably harddrive/graphics card related. But Google BSoD and start troubleshooting. Good luck
