The original point was people being able to see around them through walls when loading in. The sollution was to see nothing untill fully loaded. Your point is Just general wisdom. Dont log off in dangerous places 😉

They Stay up, its just they're the same build at that point. So i get OPs point about having another place to go that isnt community or a different pov. Imo community is the way to go, always. Officials run crap, get group hopped by clans (no matter the diff location for hopping mechanic) are more full of cheaters and are bare of QoL mods. And no your official char doesn't migrate to experimental, nor the other way around.

Yeah the "new" has worn off. Most are back to their normal play. So most bugs stay undiscovered untill a stable release. Then the shitstorm hits.

I know. Been in this rodeo for some time now..... Nontheless the update created brighter nights then we had in a long time. I always play Community cause of the crappy official values. Being 1st or 3rd. They all suck

Not quite sure as im not behind my pc now. But it has a more vanilla feel then the rest of the Trader/high loot crap you see in most servers

Wasnt the point. The point was for the owners of bases and their complaining that the dynamic zones mess with their bases that its Just temporarily. Its more acceptable if they couldnt reach their base for say 15 mins then if it was 35 minutes

The officials all have the same values. There is no difference between them. Afaik . All i do know right now its to bright. 25 I was told were the timers set. I think its too long. Yeah the sound making is really stupid.

Back on track; I like the helicopter sound crashing really adds to the experience. Was removed from the contaminated area upon login. If its your base i can get that its a bit frustrating. Maybe the dynamic toxic zones shouldnt last more then 15 mins. I mean its gas right? It blows away. Right now it lasts too long. Maybe some NBC gear could be para dropped in near dynamic zones. Right now its too hard to come by. Plus it makes sense if a government thinks survivors are still around. Doesn't have to be full suit. The stealth animation looks weird definitely needs more work! Food and drinks are fine as is, imo, time is accelerated, so should those. What happened to nights? I no longer need any form of lightsource (this was on official) All in all its getting better. Now if only i could get my bow!!

Its about survival in the way YOU want to survive. Has been since the beginning and still is. Want to survive by wiping out everything that moves? You can Want to survive in the Woods? You can Want to survive by doing s combination of the above? You can Lore wise? You start on a beach where you "woke up" and are now in a country that has infected walking around. Those infected get bombed by gas. That's it. Rest is up to you. Seeing all your threads lately makes me wander if you are Just burned up a bit on DayZ? -

Anyone know how long does: A dynamic toxic zone lasts? A snare trap catches a hare? Other then the above I find the stealth kill poorly executed. I do like the sounds of heli's and arties.

@Kyiara there really needs to be a hotfix of some sort for server stability. No point in experimenting this build when servers crap out every 5 minutes

Nice update. But seriously put some time in for creating the bow allready. Cant keep adding survival stuff when a crafted bow is still not possible. That's Just not right.

Its Just desync with the server. Sometimes it puts you in a weird loop concerning your userid. Dont go watching weird YouTube links for help. Just relog. Fixes it most of the Times. And never trust new posters who offer help.

To be fair you guys Both make good points. It depends mostly on the bullet type. Not long ago we had fmj 9 mm at my work. I can tell you from experience that I shot a person 3 Times and he still came rushing at me. It was a leg shot followed by a double tap in the stomach. Granted the person was on drugs so that negated a lot of the pain. Now we have action effect. Its like a hollow point but not quite. It opens up on impact making sure all of the energy gets unloaded unto the body creating stopping power. Hence knockback. Maybe they need to make visible what kind of 9mm it is in game. They probably wont. Same goes for the .45. But Lets be honest bullet type and gun types are Just badly implemented after the good old 0.63 update.

They are not rotting flesh, they are infected. Normal human beings that have a rage disease. Nothing more nothing less. They are not shuffling brainless idiots. So yes they should be hard, fast, deadly. Also DayZ is not a AAA game. Its an idea taken from a game. And a good Idea at that.

Almost everything is PVP nowadays. Trying to talk usually gets you killed. It creates more kos-ers by that mentality.
