I really would like to see a christmas sack under a xmas tree. It would function as a big backpack. The game that shall not be named had it. I would get excited by the look of a christmas tree in the distance hoping there would be: "the red tomato" Hauling it back to the SZ was a mission on Its own xD

^ True, but some basic elements should work. The infected have been much better in other iterations. As so for persistence. Im glad i started playing again. Overall Its so much smoother then its ever been. But these infected are just a nuisance As for common uncommon sense, ik would like to fish again!!

For someone Who has been here since SA start I and many others have seen broken promise upon broken promise. So yeah i have no hopes for decent development after 1.0. Why? Because they failed numerous times. Snarky remarks or not....

Is there some bundled info somewhere for mechanics that do or dont work in 0.63? Cant even seem to make a bow. :( Or do we need ashwood again? :)

In my experience it was never easy to meet up with friends. But i remember using the death respawn method cost me nearly as much time as to just walking from say Berezino to Elektro. So we ended just making the best of it by just embracing every spawn Agreed OP that its not new player/group friendly.

Most new games are still not nearly as big and diverse as DayZ. And i dont know about your settings, but when i run max settings its breathtaking. Not Skyrim Special Edition breathtaking but close enough. Does your GPU even lift?

Server desync was ridonculous last night. When ever a group of 4/5 got together within 200 yards weird things happened. Memory crashes Desync Alt tab Windowed mode couldnt be brought back Time for a stable patch....

Thats the thing... they tried that. Server performance was horrible. Doesnt work to great. After a few hours most towns were Z free. Then you'd have to wait for a restart for the threat to return and lets be honest they are barely a threat as is. The few Z problems now are: -keep respawning so never a feel of accomplishment and/or safety (so the dynamic spawning of Zs needs more love) -Reaction to sounds not good enough (see similar posts about this) -their animations are bad (wip) @Hicks_206 (DayZ) wandered quite some time now why the Ragdoll effect of infected is incorporated in the Vicinity/character window? Kill a Z and its dying animation is visible in the loot window.

Ehm...... a bomber jacket isnt waterproof so yeah you should be soaked quick. Firefighter jackets (worn minimum ), hiking jackets, hunting jackets (worn minimum ) gorka jackets (not damaged) Raincoats are all waterproof. Rest varies. And yes you can make fires in a lot of barns and/or garages. Go check out the server weather warning thread for photos. Dont complain because you have to work for something. Cookie cutter crap...

Go play privates mate. A small queue for a private is worth it imo. We (a group of 5) run on grumpy old gamers. Loot is there if you look for it. KOS is there but way less on pubs. If you want to hop, stay public If you want run gun pvp fest, stay public If you want a diverse/ghosting/in and out community, stay public If you want the experience you described, go private. (Whitelist is even better )

Mate of mine tried to put green pepper seeds on his cooked chicken last night. I let him have his moment. He just started playing :) The bow is nice and all but: Bring back quivers Stack of arrows need to be at least 10. Carrying sufficient arrows costs a lot of space.

Those punching mechanics need to be altered. One man Shouldnt be able to one shot 4 players ko. Who are carrying fire axes, Spears and hoes. My bow did the trick tho

Dont see much difference either. Maybe the foliage thats somewhat forced is causing your obscured vision. @op whats a few patches ago?

Thanks for this! But as far as i experienced last night the gas station roof is not waterproof. Or its just graphics but it rained through the roof.

People with Augs, coyotes, alices..... Do you know all server restarts or something? Or hopping is involved. I Never find stuff like that and i do travel the map and or heli routes. What gives? ;)
