Then you dont have a dedicated videocard in your laptop. If you have run dxdiag it would have told you so. And also 2.2ghz is not nearly enough processor speed to run any decent game. You basically have a mediocre mediacenter.

Just join public servers in the beginning. 1st and 1st/3rd view. The publics should give you just those 2 characters. Once losing stuff isnt a thing anymore join privates. And im no expert but maybe look in your history tab or wright it down

Type dxdiag in your start search bar. It will tell you all the info. I7 laptop of the first generation is not good enough.

I think the truck spawn is oke at the moment. 5 per serer i find more then enough. They should however make other forms of transportation available. I dont care what you say i liked that skateboard idea!! :) Bicycles or motors may also be implemented as far as im concerned. BUT i think they need parts. Truck also

Is netting to rare or to common? Or is it luck of the draw? I ask this because i feel that last week i could not find any netting as to where this week im suddenly covered in netting (no pun intendid. :) ) This morning, i kid you not, i found 3 stacks of 4 netting in a radius of 100 meters. On 1 server. It had not specified if it was a pers. On or off server. So thoughts?

I had similar experiences last night. Could not use canteens. I could fill them but when i dranj them they stayed 100% and i did not hydrate. So maybe something with connection to the main server ?

At OP. I played the mod a bit just to see what was all the hype about it. Too many servers just wanted to be battlefield or cod style raids. I did not want that i wanted a survival game. ISS did that better (at alpha/beta) then the mod for me. More easy to get into the game. You claim that most of the time the game doesn't work, log into a server and more often than not character is gone and you have to start over. Well guess what besides the occasional loss of char bug hives have different database. Quote; Every time I've tried to play this game for some reason I get this issue where I try to loot something and it doesn't let me, then I realize it wont let me interact with anything and I have to go to a different server.... it happens EVERY GAME! ^this usually happens with server restarts. Make sure to check the time of the server you are joining. Zombies; yes i agree there are too few, but not nearly as few as you are ranting on about. 1 Zombie 10 hours please..... bs. Loot; yes some have near to no loot whilst others have rooms piling with loot. And good loot. So again watch what server to pick. Autorun; sure a button would be nice. Sun to bright; come on really, go fiddle with your settings. All you do is rant about the game is bad opposite to the mod. Well go play the mod. Because all your reasons to not play this game are legit ;)

Or just make a fire by using kindling? You can find those by looking in bushes or use a stoneknife for it.

OP i like your post. Not only is it well written, but you ask yourself legitimate and fair questions. You are at a point in your life at which these questions pop up. For reference: -34yrs old -married 5 yrs (10 together) -2 kids (3/4) -full time job (combat trainer Dutch army) -hobby's (golf/fitness/crosscountry running) -Gaming since Atari2600 never stopped since So you see it is possible (in my situation) to do/have it all. You just need to discipline yourself into prioritizing (not spelled correctly i think but hey im dutch) I game usually most evenings at 2/5 hours depending on all listed above. Those things come FIRST. And it is important that if you want to be in a relationship that your hobby of gaming needs to be discussed on both ends. Because saying to the future mrs that you only game every other day for an hour or so but irl play each day for at least two.... gets relationships killed faster then i know. If you get addicted to something really easy i would suggest real proffessional help. This will help in all of your lifetime. And losing gear ingame? Sure it sucks, but i dont mind it too much. If i wanted to be right back in the thick of it id go play a shooter. Not a apocalyptic themed game but csgo or similair. Good luck tho. With all your endeavours :)

This! Stone crafted knife works like a charm and only takes one slot. Can use for arrowmaking etc.

I dont know if this has been brought up before BUT i would like to know if hitting multiple Zombies with one blow of a weapon is a real possibility. Because thats what happend to me this morning. Oke i had allready hit one of the Zs in the shoulder but when i went for a 2nd swing of my sledgehammer I one hitted two Zs and they both went down. Legit, glitch, sync who knows? It happend tho ;)

I disagree with your momentum bit. Imo if i swing something like a sledgehammer then it will not stop by one skull. So i think its more realistic that we CAN do this. Dont believe me? Line up two mates and hit the first (wide swing plane) really hard with a sledgehammer and see what happens. ;)

Oke so its safe to say making a ghillie is easy. My point exactly. Its to easy, soon everyone will be laying as chewbacca in the bushes. I think they need to make it harder.

Compasses are buggy sometimes. (This is known by the devs and they are looking into it. Poles can be switched 180 even when pristine. Logging in and out usually fixes the problem.
