Why do you play videogames? Entertainment right? You survived 5 months thats a incredible accomplishment even if your "death" Will not be your fault. Wipes NEED to happen on persistent games. I think its fine as is. You eat human meat (a very unapproved thing in human history) you get sick. You get something that's annoying as F and need to find a sollution. Bury your loot and off yourself. Solved. If its unknown fat, dont eat it. There's almost never a reason to eat human steaks and Ive played on some hardcore servers. Appearently going fishing is too time consuming. Going cannibal should be a RP decision not a im in need of food decision. And dont start the IRL discussion. Dont play official servers, there are still cheaters on community servers aswell, but waaaay less. At least on some Community servers you can contact the admin and he can look into it.

Play something else for a bit and then in a month or so come back. It does help. 😉 Right now playing Back 4 blood, its really decent.. then after a while i Will come back to my one true love.

Explosions and shooting it is the only way. Altho shooting it Will take a lot of Bullets. Depending on the materials used..

Official servers dont get admin supervision. Nobody Will even go check kill logs. Its a dog eat dog world on official. Better move to a community server and call it home.

Maybe its your headset that's limited? Bought a Razer kraken myself after my trusty Trust GTX 963 died. Made all the difference in the world. I did not touch sound settings ingame.
