Heli crash hunting has always been about luck. There used to be a very efficient route you could follow which would lead you past a lot of possible heli spawns. It used to have really good loot thats why spawns were dynamic. Haven't seen a heli in ages myself, but i dont Hunt then actively anymore.

It used to be one of the lesser traversed milbase with plenty of loot. Now with the pro hoppers sollution it's way to easy to get there as a fresh spawn and gear up. Id say nay

Think your wrong. The forum is just drying up. Cant blame people for that. News here is half-ass and @ImpulZ or other Devs dont even reply anymore or not enough. So why discuss and or suggest when it's all in vain. I like your idea. I liked all pre-release content and builds, ideas and suggestions but the game is at Its end of life. Updates are meh, communication is meh, vision of the future is non existent. And I still want my bow damnit!! Like I said waaaaay earlier; if 1.06 drops and it's all pvp and bugfix content im out. I want the original vision of dayz. Not this watered down hitscan shooter (with loot and craft mechanics) Sad tale of dayz continuous

Otherwise people who leave the server and don't come back now have a base that stays there. Dont know if you played ARK? But i stopped playing that because everywhere you look there are bases. Dayz won't feel apocalytic when all you see is man made bases. Thats why when you dont use it anymore it will dissappear. And 1 time in 45 days is a really small impact i think. At least enough to not have you do anything in your vacation.

There is no more proper etiquette. The friendly wiggle will get you killed. The yelling im friendly will get you killed The teaming up will get you killed Basically you end up getting killed. Welcome to dayz! 👍😉

Indeed it does. If there is the slightest bump/slope it won't place. (Vanilla) You could use the place everywhere mod. But im not sure since i dont do mods.

Ow the times i looked at my character and went "well what is there to do anymore?" I'd better respawn. I got all i need, Sniper, full Tsso or gorka outfit, killed a few peeps, robbed some.... getting bored. Respawn!! The part where your character is fragile is the best bit.... And in the beginning; ow yes a school backpack!! Yes! Rope! Now I can...... *insert* Once the starting up bit becomes tedious for you then your playing the wrong game.

Dont forgot you can also make a FireDrill kit for lighting fires. That way you can save your flare

It probably wasnt a silent round. So many times shots were not heard but you died anyway. Yes kos is what most do after experiencing what you experienced yourself. The wiggle doesnt mean shit. Never has never will. Sure there are some good/fair players. Most People are just dicks tho and don't care about your time invested only about the wannahave instinct. Best advise is to play on whitelisted private servers. Good luck out there.
