OK, not funny! They wiped one of my tents this morning (haven't checked on the other one yet). Just now, they wiped the backpacks that I had stashed. It looks like I got geared up just in the nick of time. I had gotten sick from eating fish and I got hot at the same time. I stripped down to cool off and at the same time stash my good gear in the backpacks in camp (in case the food poisoning killed me). No sooner did I start feeling better and gear back up, then literally thirty seconds later, the server went down. All of my packs are now gone! Luckily I saved some of the more essential gear. That was close!!!

And in the short term, three more experimental builds between now and next week! Whoo hoo!

I agree. I wasn't complaining, just making an observation. I do have a concern though. Is the CLE smart enough to dole out an appropriate amount of loot for one person and is it equally capable to scale up its efforts, should the server become busy with additional players? I'm not suggesting that it can't, but I look forward to seeing how it will perform on a busy 75-person server.

Are you going to have an archery, or some other sort of contest at the next GTG? The reason I ask, is that I just realized that I have a game code that I haven't redeemed. I presume that it is still good. Anyway, I'd be happy to contribute it to the winner of an event, if you decide to go down that path.

Back on the 19th, Hicks said that it would take months before the CLE would be full featured and fine tuned. After cleaning out an area, I don't notice any significant amount of loot re-spawning for 48 hours,

After a couple of days, one person can easily deplete a surprisingly large portion of the map, single-handedly. Loot definitely does spawn / re-spawn, even desirable loot, but it does not currently spawn at a rate to support one person, unless that person supplements his efforts with hunting, fishing and farming.

When were the vids made? They may no longer be relevant. Unless memory fails me, running was recently nerfed, around the same time as zoom.

I was playing Experimental this morning and the game started freezing, crashing my PC and causing all sorts of graphical artifacts. It turns out that a lot of folks with Nvidia cards have similar complaints as a result of the new 352.86 video driver. I rolled back to the 350.12 driver, but the problem persisted!!! > :( In order to resolve the problem, I had to use DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and do a clean install of 350.12. If you haven't updated your GPU to 352.86, don't! EDIT: I spoke too soon. The desktop is much more stable, but it is still not fixed. The larger issue is that the machine will crash as soon as I try to run a game (DayZ, Far Cry 4, etc.). PSA: Do not update your Nvidia driver to 352.86. You will be sorry!!!

I can't remember the exact wording of the prompts, but the process goes something like this: a) Dig the overall planting area / grid. b Did a hole for each individual seed. c) Add fertilizer to each individual hole (optional). d) Plant seed. e) Water seed. f) You should see sprouts in 4-5 minutes. g) After the fruit is fully developed, you'll get a prompt to pick it.

I did quite a bit of pumpkin farming yesterday, with no problems. I don't remember the condition of the seeds, however. You can get away without using fertilizer, but water is required.

Confirmed ... the small buildings that can not be entered, but items spawn on the porch. That's where I've seen the stripper clips.

That's a big plus! How many inventory slots does the shorty version take? Is it smaller than a MP5, for instance?

Next to the Winchester 70. the RAK has to be the most widely available arm. It no longer holds the mythical unicorn status, that it once did. Please tell me about the IZH-18. I've seen a few lying around, but I've grown attached to the model 70. In your opinion, what are the pros and cons of the model 18?

I had a Mosin for a while, so they are definitely out there. I traded in in on a repeater, since I was having much better luck finding .357 ammo. I have since seen a few stripper clips loaded with 7.62x54, but they are few and far between.

Whether the mechanic is working correctly, or not, it turns out that the devs endorse and recommend that fresh spawns rely on apples and berrys, in order to get inland so that they can find loot.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to get back into my tent? Everything was working fine, then the server restarted. I logged back in and I grabbed some pumpkin out of my tent, since I was going to go out on patrol. As I was leaving, I was unable to close the tent flap. I was able to get the prompt to close it, but the flap would not close. So I went out on patrol. I found a pair of cargo pants and a V3S. I went for a relaxing little drive in the country. I stopped by the well and filled my water bottles back up and then I headed back to camp. When I got back to the tent, the flap was now closed and I was not able to get a prompt to open it. The only prompt that I can get is to close it. I logged out of the server and and then back on, but the tent flap is still Borked. I know all about getting attached and whatnot, but I need my shit!

I think that this is one of the reasons that we're going through water so quickly.

The damn server just restarted and it swallowed both of my rabbit snares!!! >:(

Sorry to hear that you're having so many problems. I also decided to be a farmer today and I had quite the green thumb. I grew so many pumpkins, that I even left a couple of them at the local well. Which building/tower killed you?

Folks have been complaining about the lack of wildlife. I'm not saying that they are plentiful, but I just saw a cow a little ways West of Dubrovka. So, there are at least some animals still wandering around.

The garages - that's the only place that I've seen them. I went to the tent base @ Myshkino a couple of days ago and I didn't see a single pair of MIL-spec pants.
