    Nearly all startup parameters have been deprecated. The the only ones that the devs seem to recommend currently are -dologs (which has caused my machine to crash) and -newui (which the last time I tried, I couldn't select a server).

    ^ This. Sometimes you have to leave the building and then come back once, or twice. When all else fails, this nearly always does the trick.

    Per Hicks, Red 9 and VSS are not currently spawning.

    I've been totin' around a CR527 with a couple of mags and a pristine PU scope. Whether I keep the 527, or not will depend on whether I find a hunting scope next, or a SKS.

    If your luck is anything like mine, you'll find a barrel about five minutes before a server restart. *** I'm assuming that since tents aren't persistent, barrels aren't either ... although I haven't personally tested that theory, because I can't find a friggin' barrel, either!!!

    This could be an issue with high pop servers in Exp, but I haven't seen it yet in stable.

    The hotspots that you mention will get picked over, rather quickly. Properly configured servers will have LOTS of loot after a re-start. If you are not seeing that, try another server.

    Only for vehicles. But, it sounds like some private servers are mis-configured and this is causing some problems.

    Fall damage has been dialed back. I haven't tested this out in stable yet, nor do I intend to, but I fell out of a deer stand in 0.57 Exp with no ill effects. Still, it would be nice if a skillet in your pants / jacket would provide some protection from low velocity, hand gun rounds.

I'm surprised that the stable folks (those who did not play 0.57 Exp) haven't yet noticed that the capacity of the taloon pack has been nerfed. To cut to the chase, these seem to be intentional changes which, presumably (with the exclusion of the pack), partially address the abuse of multiple items being nested inside of each other. EDIT: I wouldn't be surprised if similar changes occur with vests and the plate carrier pouches.

    What are you seeing? Is the icon there, but the quantity zero, or the icon is gone, but the item still there, or the item is completely gone? I saw all of these possibilities, while the devs were working on the new inventory system. Please document your findings in the bug tracker.

    I disagree, especially if any of the 0.57 Exp builds are anything to judge by. The CLE is not fully configured, so the devs rigged it so that there is too much loot, instead of too little. It's a temporary measure. If the loot in 0.57 Stable was anything like it was in Exp, all of you would be rage quitting right now. Patience.

    Got ya. Per post #49, I saw that once in EXP. No matter how much I ate, or drank, I was stuck on dark green Energized. When I re-logged, I was lime green energized, but in the lower LHS of the screen I was getting messages about being stuffed and wanting to vomit. When I looked at the status indicator in my inventory screen, I didn't have a stuffed status. It seems like the messages and the status indicators were out of sync.
