= Taviana Stories = Dayz Origins Interaction Server. Six years have passed since Dr. Ivan Hofman released his infected clones upon humanity. Some say he was obsessed with creating a super soldier, others that he was just plain mad. Year after year, pent up in his secret, underground lab, whispers stirred through Taviana of human genetic experiments, cloning, cross-breeding and even recovered alien technologies. Although his intentions are still unknown, rumors have recently begun to surface about a possible cure from the horrid fate of reanimation after death. Teams of scientists, doctors, fortune hunters and marauding bandits alike, have started making their way to Taviana while every day citizens attempt to piece their lives back together after the most terrifying and catastrophic epidemics in the history of the world. A council of survivors has formed near the city of Mitrovice. If you wish to stay in communication and are willing to help out from time to time with missions when called upon, just register with the council (on the forums) and fill out a quick application and they’ll have you up and running in no time. In return for fighting back the undead and the murderous forces of Salvation City, the Council will send you a nice care package to help you survive on Taviana Island. Will you help to solve the mystery of Dr. Ivan and his possible cure or lay waste to all who cross your path in the hope of surviving just a little longer? We are a multi-gaming group that has recently been focusing on the dayz origins mod, specifically taking on AI player missions and assulting and clearning the dreaded Sector B AI island full of crack-shot, bloodthirsty killing machines. Origins is back in full force, receiving regular updates and due to the awesome vehicle selection and customization, as well as nice balance and huge land-mass. We also play overpoch, epoch, and overwatch, CS-GO, a few other shooters for those pvp skillz.. So I am starting this thread to highlight the fact that not only has the Origins mod made a comeback, but the new updates have improved an already awesome mod to something that I found to be extremly fun, balanced, and rewarding. I have been playing on the US001 Origins server and documenting some of the new areas, loot, interface changes, vehicles, AI missions, sector B and more! Feel free to chime in with any questions and comments as I update this thread from day to day. I will be happy to show anyone interested how this mod works, where to go, and how to get started. I have played them all and never found the long term fun I have found with Origins so I wanted to share just in case other dayz fans out there are loving the game but getting bored with no overal objectives.
