i wouldn't say that we did all leave, most of us took a break since there is so little to do in the game besides PvP... As far as im' concerned, im' more in that game for the survival aspect, when it comes to PvP, id' rather play arma 3 than day-z !! But i feel you though, 3rd PP servers are killing the population of 1st Person servers ! So, personally, im' just waiting for the next EXP build and re-implementation of zombies ! -
Well a good solution for that would be rather simple to apply ! Why not having it as an option for the server operator ? Just like we used to turn on / off 3rd person and such ! Hardcore players who wants immersion will get it, and pew pew from 3rd person fans would get their fix as well...

am' i the only one who would like to find some random ''Notes', in houses and near some vehicle, pretty much telling a story about the people that used to lived there, their last moments, having some random ''Stashes'' that you could only find by reading them notes... Some kind of charade would add so much to the game !!! thoughts ?!?

Yep, exaclty what im' thinking !! You could express it better than i will ever be with the limitations of my english haha !! But yeah, i have to admit that i truly don't understand why putting so much effort in the only aspect of the game that (Except the 7-8 bullets hit to die) works very well when this kind of effort could be more needed for the zeds problem, the camp lag, non-despawning items and such... I know PvP is a core element in the game, but im' just scared that the PvP oriented-work is made in detriment of the other aspects like the ones i mentionned earlier... I don't know but, having 3 million copies sold tells me that financially all the ressources are there to at least, see constant improvements in the game when it comes to ALL it's core mechanics ! Right now, sadly, the game took a huge step back with 0.58 stable... I'll have, once more to take some time off and come back when acceptable changes will be made, appart from some pew pew, there is very little to try to ''Test'' at the moment !

Hi there DayZ community... The post im' making here is not about complaning nor telling the devs what to do, but i gotta say i do have some concerns ! Seeing the devs plan that community scrum makes me wonder, are they still working on zombies ? Has any improvement been made on that level ? IMO, it is a core mechanic of the game, even more than PvP, back in the mods, you would see most of the time zombies before you even see / hear another player, i don't know if im' the only one, but id' personally think that it would be a better idea to gather all possible ressources to work on that zombie problem and THEN, move on with less-important stuff... We don't need to know ALL the details, but at least some updates like, we or we didn't see any improvements and still working on it would at least, ease some concerns, some friends i have that bought the game since the no-zombie patch (Kinda) already asked for a refund (Since DayZ is advertised as a game with zombies in it they are quite dissapointed that there are none of them) We all do appreciate that the dev team is including us in the process of shaping the game or at least, give our insights, but a priority list should be established, to at least, make sure the core mechanics of the game are in a working state before trying to add more guns, vehicles and clothes... Please do not flame, im' just trying to be as constructive as i can within the limit of my spoken english haha ! Have a nice day all !

Don't woryr ! I visited almost every topic and post i could find here or over the internet... But the problem is, im' playing experimental fine all day, to take a break, come back, re-launch the game and bam... Here's that problem...

I also have this problem, but weird fact, i was playing like 10 minutes ago... Took a break to go to bathroom, reboot game and now this black window :( FML ! :P

This is why tactical movement and formations can be handy ! Forcing them snipers to constantly adapt their aim instead of going in a straight line where he just have to adjust up and down...

Usually i feel more comfortable with 4 to 6 guys... Preferably 6... For the simple reasons that when we have to approach a town, one 3 man team stays concealed with a great FOV to cover our asses while the 3 remaining goes for loot WITHOUT ever going out of the covering team's sight... For military bases it's fairly different, especially the one on the western side of the map... On that case, i usually use a multi-flank approach having 2 from north, 2 from south and 2 from either west or east... Those tactics usually bring good results... Movement is also important, basic formations for exposed area like a line formation from left to right, or a staggered column when traveling following a road... Also, if you have like 8 mens, on exposed area you can use efficently the wedge formation (Shaped like a V where the tip always on the front, and then guys on the right and left 45 degrees allignment) those formations can increase survival as it makes the enemy unable to kill more than 2 targets in a fast pace Hope it helped (I was part of many realism units in many games that helped me a lot)
