Can we please get some sort of way to look up how we died? This is my third time dying randomly after spending a week on a character. Today, I "broke my leg", "my leg is in pain" to a black screen of "You are dead." within 2 seconds. No sounds, no gunshots, I was on some stairs standing still. If a player killed me, no big deal I would accept it. If a random bug in the game killed me, then I'm going to quit and come back in 4 months. No doubt "random death" bugs are the worst type of bug to plague the game because it drives paying "Alpha" testers away from your tortoise-paced project. These should be fixed immediately. If you are charging $30 to play your Alpha game, at least have the respect to fix the bugs that let give your testers some sort of solid foundation to explore and give genuine feedback (or let them know how they died, even if it's delayed 30 mins).

..but it could have been self-defense, I'm not sure because I suck at communicating in DayZ. If you were a friendly guy, sorry. I am new, this is my 6th or 7th spawn. I've been shot at, chased down, died to insta-death bug and multiple zombies. This time I am stacked with good loot, and I ran into a crazy situation today. After walking into a building at the NW airfield, I closed the main door. A second later, I hear the front door open. I know there is someone coming in. So I pull out my Mosin and wait at the stairs, sure enough a dude comes around the corner barreling right up the stairs. I fire one shot, right in the chest (I don't see impact) but then proceed to sprint past him out the front door. After running like hell, I double back and hide under a tree aiming my reloaded rifle at the front door of the building. Finally, about 5 min later, out comes this guy on his knees, with his rifle out looking around, purple backpack and evil clown mask. I shoot, hit him the shoulders, another in the neck, then one more in the side and he's dead. My problem is this. In most MMPOGs I've played I am sort of the bandit-killer type. I attempt to help the young and kill the griefers. Today I am not sure who I killed. How do you guys communicate? Does voice chat work, if so, how far does it travel? Do people read text? Is there an accepted symbol for non-aggression without making yourself vulnerable? Do people read notes?

I've found a few blood test kits, these are scattered random and just not in hospitals. A rabbit, I killed one last night, skinned and cooked. It gave 4 steaks just like a deer does (doesn't make sense) The rabbit was hard to kill because it was bouncing around in the grass and I didnt have an elevated position. Can openers are rare definitely, usually I am using a machete, axe or kitchen knife to open. Seen them in houses.
