Never hurts to think of ways to overcome dickheads in game but it's just adding to the barbedwire spam. Tank traps and barbedwire are a great addition and have so many uses. Trouble is the community is not mature enough for such an in game item imo. Should be removed or made to spawn a hell of a lot less often. -
What if we picked an alignment at our spawn?

We start of presumably washed up on a beach. Many peoples game play changes as they get into the game. Meaning, they may start with good intentions but find it too hard to survive without killing for food and water etc. Picking a good or bad flag at the beginning would imo destroy the flow of the game and make it not as much fun. Also: rather than make another thread edit your first post and at the beginning, or in the title ask a mod if they can move your thread for you. Say please ;) -
A week or 2 ago I would have said low chance. Today I would say outside of the main cities chances are nearly nill. People who live and pvp in the cities though will say there is no problem with morphine.

Yesterday I went to Cherno' (something I don't do often) to get medical supplies. As I was there and had sod all on me to loose I took a look around the town. I came across 3 different survivors all lone wolf players. The first one scared me as it was indoors and we both met in a hallway. To the point...All 3 people I met typed "HI" using direct channel as we met. All 3 then went about their business after I replied with a similar greeting. Obviously there are many people who will shoot you whatever you do. But a simple "hello" goes a long way in showing your intentions. -
Am i just really unlucky or is food spawn messed up?

Food was reduced yes. After the "bean wars" during I think it was 1.7.1.4 patch the lack of food introduced a new dynamic to the game. I think the devs wanted to keep this, but may have gone a little too far imo. Zombies now have a chance of caned food on them as loot btw also. -

Go for it. Every fire station has barbed wire at the bottom of the stairs. These people are then server hopping to loot farm. Also I don't kill people except for self defence. But from now on I am shooting on sight anyone I see placing barbedwire at loot spawns. -
Well that's how discussions go. Sometimes to explore an answer you must expand the question.

Nah let it run. The devs can get a copy, pull the software apart and pass the info to BE. Then anyone using this stuff gets a glonal ban. More filthy hacking scum out of the game imo. Anyway how do you get someone to close a site down without lengthy and costly court procedures ?

Nope. You can spawn civilian zombies but they stand around and don't have the zombie ai. Also obviously no dayz content spawns. My bad, your title and then the question were slightly different. I posted stuff you knew already. -
Use mouse not A / D to run ZIG ZAG then you wont stop. EDIT: actually I don't think I even stop using A and D now I think about it :/

Can you just take stuff from people's backpacks?

Pretty sure in Arma II proper (maybe one of the expansions like BAF) you can lock your back pack and only your team has access. So I think (may be wrong) the engine does make it possible to lock backpacks. It's just we don't have the option. -

lol I was gonna say where the hell were you when 1.7.1.4 was released. But someone beat me to it. Whatever the release patch, never think that is how things will stay. It's still in development and as we saw in just a few days zombies can go from morons who cant catch anything to laser guided death machines and then back to something of normality again. I fully expect many aspects of the mod to go one way or the other completely off the chart during this alpha. At times I have had to stop play and wait for a fix. This is the way it is and the game we test and play. -

Holy wall of text ! I didn't read it, but I read the title and will answer that. Not so much the morphine spawn allthough not having it at village / town pharmacies etc is a bit strange. For me it's more a case that bones seem so brittle now that to explore the map you need to be taking morphine hits to cure broken bones every 20 minutes. I think most people who play CS in the southern cites are not affected though. -

I think more people now think they have witnessed hacks. Hacks are obviously out there and many cases are beyond doubt. But I do wonder how many are really hacks, and how many people were just outplayed. Take the survey people. more people the better. Be honest ! -

I keep saying it, but I will say it again anyway. Less morphine spawns is now much more noticeable because the chance to get a broken bone now seems to be very very high from hits taken from a Zed. And on top of that the terrain itself breaks bones such as steps to houses etc. Our bones are too weak ! My suggestion would be... Morphine = instant repair. No morphine = 15 minute heal time followed by, your speed is very much reduced until morphine is found. That is still a hell of a penalty for getting a broken bone in the middle of no where. And if anyone says 15 minute heal to automatically be able to walk is not realistic. Then I point out Morphine is not a cure for fractures. -
