Crosshair may be good for melee weapons but I believe that you will improve melee weapon handling so I say go on and remove it if you can prevent some hacks with that move. I don't see why DayZ would even need crosshair if we can aim down the sights and you can hit the zombies from the hip easily in short distances anyway. Doom doesn't have crosshair and many people love that game :P

Why these were removed :( Some bugs or did people just whine whine whine? I hope something will be done to that food spamming. also running out of matches, blunting your blades add at least something to do in the game. Otherwise looking gooooood. -
Well it is pretty easy not to realize that the thumbnail is from The WarZ because it doesn't look anywhere near to the actual game :P

Just to make clear for the OP ArmA: Gold = ArmA: Armed Assault and ArmA: Queen's Gambit - This game is Arma 1 that was a follower to Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis but it is now Arma: Cold War Crisis because of Codemasters Arma 2: Combined Operations = Arma 2 and Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead - This is the game where DayZ has been made

Well because the photography research had already been done 2 years ago so there isn't any need for more research. in addition Ivan and Martin are not the artists of the team.

Well I've always played first person only, so yes. But I like to see somehow what my character looks like, so adding rotatable character in gear menu or something like that would be cool. -

I have to say I believe that R4ZOR49 is putting DayZmod in the direction where Standalone will go also and I hope that Standalone will be hardcore as fuck. I think that I'll enjoy mod also because I love Namalsk. -
150 sounds pretty much because it means there is 1 person in every 1,5km². I won't bash it now but looks like servers might be pretty crowded at first :D

Well side channel doesn't ruin mine game because there isn't any option to shout someone who's a bit further. But I hope there will be option to shout so there's no need side channel in SA because it is little immersion killer right now. -
I think Arma 2's nights are good but adding some lightning in towns would be nice. It gets really dark in countryside when the sun is down but Arma 2's darkness last only about 18:30-21:00 (in October) and after that you can see IMO too well. //Ok when I tested in July it was too dark for me from 19:45-22:30. I hope standalone won't be that dark in the night :P

I have HD4870 and I got a lot micro-stuttering but it got fixed when I tweaked these in the ArmA2OA.cfg file: GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1; GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=0; You can find it in C:\Users\username\Documents\ArmA 2 Before that it was awful to play the game if fps wasn't 40 or so. Now even 20 fps is playable. /Try different values if those doesn't work for you.
