Well yes but I'd say it's not good enough indicator. Still easily missable. One thing that came in my mind is that when you use hotbar, the item doesn't get changed if you don't have enough room in your inventory but you can drop it from your hands from the inventory screen. Though that's still bit vunerable for server lag but still bit better. The biggest issue is currently the server lag or tracking bug, so the server says you aren't there where you are in your screen and the item gets dropped who knows where. If that gets fixed then the current thing could be bearable but not perfect IMO. /I got to add I like the feature that the item doesn't take space in inventory when it's in your hands so I'm not against that at all. It's a very good thing.

The issue is the hotbar. When you use it, there's a great chance for dropping an item accidentally. One thing could be an status message that says you put an item in your inventory or you dropped it on the ground just like you said. Other thing is just to not use hotbar because like you said in the inventory screen it's easy to see if you really dropped the item or put it in your backpack.

There needs to be something that hints you actually dropped the gun/item or some way that we must see what we are doing. It's hard to guess in a game did you put it n your backppack or on the ground but IRL you should know that :D

I very much believe the red zone won't be that generic big red one but maybe couple spreaded small zones on some N&W&NW military places.

Did you for sure visit the same towns as before? It can always feel like an fps boost until you go in some big town and you remember and notice "oh how wrong was I..."

Are some grass greener now than before? I messed up with some color settings today but I'm not sure did I make that big effect. I'm near Zub castle but could be just that the sat image is more greenier in this part. /But it still feels like maybe the grass color tech is in and maybe in use in some places? I remember grass beign more flat colored in every place. Some comparsion pictures: Before: Now: So many variations of greens.

A rag and white chemlight as a starting gear.

Jumping and hotbar aren't as responsive anymore. Seems to be back to the starting point. Or the server is just very laggy. Oh I was in an old experimental lol...

Well then don't expect really anything until the game is optimized. -

Towns 20-30 fps, wilderness 60 or more. And those numbers are just the max fps you'll get unless you go full potato on graphics. -
Because I and all the others can't.

Thanks for the responses. I've also now found out that And thanks for the Boneboys, I played more with the mic properties and found out that if I put max boost but lower the mic level down to 20 it sounds already much better. I didn't even think about that until you said lower the volume. I had the level naturally on 100 and some boost because it sounded quiet but it seems like it's better to do it other way around.

Well for headphones and mic soundcard/DAC/AMP whatever are mostly needed. Most headsets have their own USB card like my Logitech G930. I even needed an AMP between my headphones and motherboard, even though these are only 16ohms to get them enough loud. Not sure if you understood the weird voices part correctly. It sometimes get pretty loud and constant so I need to replug the mic or my friends will kill me :D I'm pretty sure that it's because I'm using the MBs soundcard for the mic and mostly that's been the reason for those bad static noices and whatever. You never hear those with USB stuff or likely if you've good internal/external soundcard or something like that.
-
I've tested both front and back panels. No difference with the mic and I naturaly use headphones in the back for the reason you said. I use mic front because I sometimes need to remove and apply the mic again to get rid of the wierd sound that happens sometimes and it happened even when it's plugged in back panel so that's not the reason. It's like background voices from the past which actually sounds pretty scary :D And I changed the OP little that it's better to have an amp in the "card". Thanks for that article.

Did you happen to find the rope and sack from the same place near each other? I found mine from a bus station and I wonder if it was just a luck. I've seen flashlights and batteries spawning next to each other in other patch couple days ago.
-
You know that people are actually generous to give their ammo especially if they don't have a gun for those ;)

Two memory crashes in ~1h here.

Oh yeah, house fireplaces! Overall I liked this report very much.
-
Well if you sell them quickly you could get a nice amount of money from your cards, with a good luck enough to buy that GTX 980 Ti.

Also lower zoom means it's harder to aim and you really need a good mouse or otherwise you'll miss everything easily because even small movements are dam huge and with a bad mouse you can't hit that pixel.

Oh interesting. I was wondering if the consumtpion rates were increased because only couple apples and I was from brown starving to no indicator. Only desync so far was when I tried to craft a torch on the ground. I never found where it went but I wasn't going to wait for long to see if it appears on the ground. It's so amazing that the hotbar actually works and responses everytime + the character jumps everytime when you press jump button :) Smoothest experience ever but seems like many others don't agree.
-
Yeah blurring things is just a no go for me. My eyes already does that. DOF etc effects are the first things I turn off from every game.
-
Likely desync because I don't have any problems currently.
-
Woah about that FoV slider update! Now it's good to give some feedback but it's so awesome that the zoom is now fixed.

If resting your foot over a pedal isn't a problem then you can use that also. Make it so when the pedal is up, you're running and when you need to stop running push the pedal and then you can go normally with your keyboard. Or make the same with a steering wheel axis. For example turn your wheel left and you're running. Btw pedals can be used nicely to tune your moving speed. I'm not using it because it takes bit practice but it can be a nice thing for someone.
