Yeah even f it was bugged or something, in the end it was fun. I also remember two of my friends dying because the horde was too much to handle and they were already dying in hunger so it was a big last stance. I tried to save them bit later because I wasn't with them but I couldn't get them up and then I had to run away those same zombies.

Well that fireplace/sticks/logs disappearing was also in 0.57 or 0.56 experimental a while ago. Then it was more of a server dependet, because on other server logs and sticks disappeared after 2s and on other server they worked fine. Animals seemed to rubberband in UK-02. I chased herd of 5 cows just a couple minutes ago :D Rubberbanding was pretty bad though I've seen worse.

Most of those games are actually enjoyable to play for many and long sessions. DayZ is just a test when patch comes and then waiting for the next patch. No reason to burn out unfinished game now.

Why is the amount I can look up limited?
St. Jimmy replied to WilliamTheConqueror's topic in General Discussion
I believe they tried to limit 3rd person but now it's really just limiting the 1st person even more. I don't know what's going on but I hope they get rid of it soon and fix the other 1st person freelook bug. Ticket about it http://feedback.dayzgame.com/view.php?id=26943 -
Hope for this to happen :beans: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/106827-new-stalker-inspired-map-for-arma-3-now-in-development/page-6

The 25fps is likely lost because of the new enterable buildings.
-
Well only thing that has been really achieved was to bug the 1st person even more. It's sad and roughly said but it's true. 1st person is even more limited now.

Woods fps can rise. Town fps remains the same.

I'm thinking the opposite that public hive should be THE game and private you can do whatever you want :D
-
"Kind of forces". But still you can do whatever you want. Nothing isn't forcing you other than you yourself because you're afraid of the consequences of your actions. If you really want to play the game you can change the shard then and continue there. I bet there even would be shards where that rule isn't be forced. People even take high risks IRL. Nothing isn't even forcing you to not to be a mass murderer, you just don't enjoy that or you're afraid to take the risk with your life.

No risk for being a dick. Also Banditry and KoS doesn't have any risk and exictement when you can instantly spawn even after murdering the whole Chernarus amount of players. Wouldn't it be much more exicting if you've killed couple players in one life that after death you couldn't spawn in the same shard for two days just for example? You could still do it but there's actually a risk or potential not playing in the server(s) you've the nice base with your friends for hours/days. This could also be even good against hackers :D For rough example public could be divided in three shards, EU, US and Asia. Die in an EU server and especially if you've been murdering people, you would be banned for playing in public EU servers for X days. You could still join US and Asian servers but naturally those have different characters because they're different shards just like private servers are different, so nothing carries over from US or Asia to the EU if/when you start to play again in there. There's always a server you could play in DayZ even with that kind of system because of Private Shards and SP. You're just limited if you start to live the risky banditry life ;)

I guess this will be the "no zombies" patch? If there's any there are very few of them.

Are those green colored houses fireplaces usable? I looked them at this patch that they look new to me but I didn't ever test them though I tried to look them with inventory and I didn't see anything. Or is it some other house?

Some funny (actually pretty serious) stuff: If you don't like that keylogger then you can do this:
-
Set the ping to 0 so none of them are filtered out. Also if you're in experimental those servers should always show on top even if you sort them out.
-
I read yesterday that it's not recommended to.make clean install can't just remember why. You can make clean W7/8 install and then upgrade but just installing W10 cleanly alone wasn't recommended.

Less sway when walking while aiming down sights!
St. Jimmy replied to jayfkay (DayZ)'s topic in Suggestions
You can go pretty fast IRL without much sway. Move your feet so they don't rise much kind of like you would be almost levitating above the ground. It fatigues but you can go stabile about jogging speed for short bursts or naturally just go slower for long time. Just watch some CQB training videos how people move and try it yourself. It should come naturally and you don't need train for that. On uneven ground it gets different. This is how we move in the game according to the sway: /\/\/\/\ But everyone should be able to go like this: ~~~~~~ or even ----------- especially when walking and even higher speed is possible for some time. -
When I ran my i7 2600K @ 4,4Ghz with stock cooler it ran between 80-100C. I was on those temps for like 1,5-2 years so those temps aren't really too bad. I'd still expect you to run bit lower temps unless you don't have much case cooling.

They've been partners with BIS for some time. There's nothing weird about that :D

I can confirm this.

end product - how will new players know howto xxx?
St. Jimmy replied to nl's topic in General Discussion
Well very basics could be teached but after that it just becomes "I can do that in real life so maybe test or google if I can do that in DayZ" That suppressor thing is a good example because some people know that's possible to do and likely even try that out because they've seen some DIY Shooting Range Youtube video. -
Even the 1st/3rd person split is too much IMO and splitting those two would be way too much.

winter clothing = some snow areas in the future?
St. Jimmy replied to Bsur's topic in General Discussion
It's very hard to say if it's a bug because there's a clear error right at the start of the game about some texture .rvmat or does the error come just because the snow isn't ready. But I highly doubt that it's intentional because the error message is this and the area is tiled: -
Also try FXAA High. I don't see anything bad about that except the brightness and gamma and maybe some distant objects aren't too detailed but that's likely because you don't have enough VRAM or you need to higher up object and terrain.

Sounds bit like me when I started to play Arma 2. 15fps with a good luck felt like the experience couldn't get any better.AMD Athlon 6000+, 2GB DDR2 RAM, 250GB HDD, Windows Vista 32-bit and Radeon 2600 PRO that I later swapped to the beasty Radeon 4870 1GB after a half a year. I can just feel your performance you're getting. It's hard to understand anymore how 7-20fps was well playable :D
