  1. Thanks to Champ of Zelenogorsk, Scavenger, Bean King and others who took this seriously! Appreciate it! IMO 1st person view is the only reasonable way to play DayZ and all of us know why. I guess I'll play 3d person like Jimmy Jazz said for messing around and experimenting. Regards!
  2. Hi guys, this is not a joke. I'm actually having the hardest time enjoying playing 3p view but I honestly wanna start to. The reason is just there are so few 1st person view servers that sometimes there are just no options for me. Please share with me why and how 3p view can be fun and maybe even hardcore. I'm not mocking, so please don't mock me back. Cheers!

    Removal of the gamma setting

Deffinetly support this idea. Night should be equally dark for everybody.
  4. Agree. I'd also like to know if any of my clothing receives damage with an appropriate message to stay informed about my gear condition. As in real life I'd definitely notice if my jacket got ripped or my backpack is torn.
  5. Maybe just let the number of useable slots of damaged and ruined cloth and bags decrease? The mechanism and amount of damage needed to ruin your pants or vest can be altered or adjusted and I believe it will be. Don't simply apply this suggestion to existing build. Your stuff inside your pockets doesn't have to be ALL ruined because of one bullet. And as I understand it if your pants are ruined there are no pockets and there is no physical possibility to wear them. Once again, I don't say objects inside get ruined too, they just drop and you get message about it so you would have to rethink and reorganise your inventory.
  6. So my suggestion is if for example your jacket gets ruined after another zombie hit you get a message that "Your jacket (backpack, pants etc) got destroyed and you dropped the gear in it" or something like this. This makes sense because for now we use slots of our ruined stuff without caring about its condition. So guys, what do you think?
  7. The only way this will work for me if there would have been a real fog of war like in strategy games. I wouldn't like people just pop-up in place which I previously considered empty. Let that "out of sight" area be blurry or shadowed. That way it will look somewhat natural.
