what if i told you there are over 30 dayz maps....

You know what really is the weird part about the jaguar? Its not venomous XD

Modded maps require modder's attention, not developer's.

    Hah, didn't notice that.

Ok bad experiences building bases or raiding them. So I thought id hop on here and ask for some help.

Whenever we raid a base it takes a lot of time and gear to get in and get loot out. But when we get raided it almost looks like if its just fractions of the time/gear needed that we would have put in.

Are there glitches being used or sweet spots to be struck that we not know about?!

4 dial locks? No point they were still on. Double Gates? Nope, gone. Gaps to be jumped, proned or slithered? We closed it all to no succes. Barbed wire? Yeah no they just go past it all.

We know a raid is to happen, we dont mind it. Its calculated. But just when we rebuild it all (improved, altered) its a matter of a very short time and its all gone again. Everything gone! Not a crumb.

I have a lot of time in this game But the speed shit gets done these days is mind blowing.

Its on Spaggie Deer Isle, just for the dont play official comments. 😉

Google just has a lot of old stuff regarding so, please enlighten me if you have some more fyi.

Spaggies are very hard to build a base on because it doesn't have build anywhere. It all comes down to how many layers you have to the stash room and how bored the enemy team is. All things aside, the more people in the group you have, the better chances you'll have as you'll have more resources and more people active to defend the base.

I don't really mind the vehicles, take look at the zombies. I don't know how did this AI and pathfinding ever pass quality control, it's shame for a full release game. I'm suprised people don't talk more about this. It's not even about the latest update. It has been like this for a while now.

Hey, If it was set to private by Geez, it means the ticket was acknowledged and looked into. Usually issues that were already reported are not getting answer but they are always looked into.

Geez's last message (which I think you can see?) is to reinstall drivers and DirectX, but that didn't work out. Decided to take my course of action in the end. Fixed it on my own by doing a full system wipe, which I desperately tried to avoid as I had way too much important software installed and licensed.

Feel free to archive or leave this post as it is, as the issue is fixed.

Someone: I have 600 hours and got banned
me: 10k hours and no ban

I love how OP made a second profile not three hours after joining himself. 😂

I gave up on trying to explain to people that BattleEye and DayZ aren't same since they can't be bothered to make forum account or read the rules before asking for ban appeal. I seriously doubt that BE straight up bans someone out of blue sky. As far as I think, those people should stay banned.

Thought I'd actually attempt using the Feedback Tracker again between 1.17 and 1.18, after having given up in the past due to things just being marked as "Assigned" by Geez and then ignored for years.

Nothing in the patch notes relating to the VOIP issues which were introduced with 1.17, despite me - and others - documenting them heavily on the FT.

I would advise anyone else concerned about issues to simply ignore the Feedback Tracker once again, since it seems like Bohemia aren't taking it seriously; and there's no point in us wasting our time on it.

    Spot on!

100% agree that movement and gunplay isn't up to what you would expect of DayZ.

Escape from Tarkov has both (I didn't play it, only saw YouTube vids of it) natural movement and more natural gunplay.
Guns have weight to them in EFT, aiming takes more than a split second, and one could expect just that from DayZ.
But instead, DayZ feels like COD4 when it comes to the feel of the movement and shooting.

Hopefully gunplay get's an overhaul someday... I mean there are mods that make it so much more different, so it's possible.

Coming from almost 3 thousand hours of DayZ I thought I'd dominate Tarkov. Oh boy, was I wrong. That game will kick the crap out of you. I was suprised how a game could feel so realistic. Weapons have weight and way more details than, you know, actual military simulator (?).

  8. I'd be more than ashamed after the stunt you pulled, Chris. If you want to endure admin abuse, ungratefulness, and then get kicked while the server shamelessly changes name (meanwhile blatantly copying the name of more popular servers), this is a great server for you.

At least have some decency and don't copy paste the text I made you for the last server.

Edit: Since thread owner likes to use people and abuse his powers, he deleted his own server advert. For any curious player out there, the server's name is DayZ Sanctuary. I'd suggest you to avoid that server like plague. There are many better servers.

  9. To be honest, I very rarely find them, but then on the other hand I rarely encounter heli-crashes as I don't actively search for them. On vanilla I think it's perfectly balanced. They are rare enough to provide the lucky few unfair advantage.  But it's different story if NVG's can be duped or if they aren't  CLE-counted in stash or on player.

I dont know what the big deal is with hit indicators... They arent accurate as they have stated. If you get shot you are going to have some sort of idea where it came from. The people crying about the hit indicators are likely playing third person and their opinions are worthless. Get rid of 3rd person... then lets discus the hit indicators...

Hit indicators are being hated on by the toxic scumbags that populate Dayz.

Anyone that disagrees with anything above is likely not worth the time it would take to reply to you so stfu idc cry some more.

All I really care about is getting pens(so i can leave notes/walkies suck and Im against people using 3rd party chat services. Yeah Im talking to you.) back and cars fixed(so the cars don't turn into Chain chomps and try to kill me). Anything they they do at this point is meaningless to me as I don't really take the game too seriously at this point.

You don't know what's the big deal about hit indicators because you haven't played as much as I have and you weren't part of DayZ community (and forums), again, as much as I have. Had you not threw meaningless insults I'd write you a proper reply, but I got better things in my life to do.
