Any ideas what happened to this server? I was playing on it whole week and left the game last night, now the server's down. I hope it's just update.

Same happens to me, I quess we can either wait for stable servers to update or play with new characters on Experimental.

Hi, so I'm looking for these items: - Car battery and sparkplug - Hacksaw - PU scope (I really need to find one soon) - Car tent All in all, I'm looking to make a base but as you can see I can't find some of the basics. I've never seen car battery or a sparkplug in any garages I've been to. Also I checked couple of deerstands and there weren't any PU scopes and I'm unsure if they actually spawn at deerstands or somewhere else.

They have some lagging issues but I'd rather keep them as it as than to reduce number of zombies or even God forrbid remove them. They are working on the fix. You might notice that there are a LOT more zombies than ever before.

Am I the only one experiencing this? 10 minutes ago I was running towards Novy Sobor just to see server error. Turns out while I was playing the game was updated so I had to restart it. I join in the same server and then I'm set miles away on the coast with nothing but a damn rag in my hands? A 10MB update messed up my game. It'd be okay if this was Experimental, but no, they have to mess up. Really? I can't belive this...

You didn't understand me. I was playing on 0.63 the whole time. When small update rolled out my character got lost somewhere in the database. It was an official server, I noticed that a few more people were affected by the update too, according to the Steam Discussion.

We will certainly have statistics for our characters but most likely it will pop up when you press certain button to prevent encumbering main menu.

I didn't play for a while now, did they change night in Experimental? I saw that there were some drastic improvements on nighttime according to SR.

I don't enjoy Experimental since, as far as I know it it doesn't have persistence and overall quality of life is degraded from 0.62 Stable. Last time I checked it, it didn't have half of items that were present in older versions. I can't make camping sites, can't make garden or get a vehicle. Also, if I don't play long enough, newer Experimental version will roll out and there goes my character with it. I like to take risks. Especially like wearing white shirt on Labour Day or brown shoes with charcoal suit. Just for the giggles.

I'm really dissapointed to see one version of game taking almost half a year to just be published on stable branch. I feel like developers are either sipping Martinis on the beach or just not very skilled to develop a game. I hope for the best, but I'm starting to lose trust, too.

Remember that so far 0.62 has more ways of preparing food like using fat, boiling and etc.

It's useful but with upcoming updates the map will change so there's no use having it on the wall now.

I was very dissapointed that DayZ didn't manage to reach Stable in last 3 months. I've been looking foward to play DayZ on my summer holiday... Well if they managed to get stable on summer holiday I'm sure that a lot of people would come back and restore playerbase since we're free from work/school.

Probably when it hits stable version, since I don't see any need for persistance to be on for Stress tests and maybe even Experimental tests because they restart 24/7.

I think DayZ is already translated on Russian. Or atleast I saw it somewhere that some of inventory items were on Russian.

I'm using this one. I can guarantee it works for me, I've been using it for a year now.

Artificial zoom and seeing players glowing is called hacks. ReShade and EnB addons are only there to make colours brighter, more beautiful. There's no such thing as having ReShade outline players. It might make them glow more, but also background will glow more too since all of colours are enriched, therefore it's still equal and hard to spot them.

Complete utter zombiesh*t, it doesn't. I have Reshade for over a year now and I cannot even imagine playing DayZ without it, it just looks way too bland and depressing. I have Silo Entertainment's newest Reshade for 0.60, check it out on YouTube. It works for me perfectly.

Hi, I have a few questions regarding 0.63 Experimental. 1) Can you get stuffed? I tried eating and drinking a lot, and I cannot get stuffed. Also, does it show when you are ''light green energised/hydrated'' on new HUD? 2) Are there any scopes? If not, when will they be coming? 3) Guns? Where are all the other guns? I've been through all Chernarus only to find Makarovs, that gun using SKS ammo, AKM and MP5K. Literally not a single other gun. 4) Anyone else having problems with FPS? I used to play game on 40-50 FPS and now I struggle to get even 25. Literally unplayable in gunfights. 5) Anyone else thinks vests are way too heavy? I tried using that bulrap backback without sticks, a gun and vest. I literally couldn't run for more than 5 seconds straight. They really need to get balanced out. Now assault backpack takes same amount of stamina as other casual backpacks. 6) Also, why are most of the normal items suddenly removed from the game? I feel like we're stuck on 50'ish items, I can't really tell what is missing but it feels wierd. Wherever I go I find tactical shirts, tac. bacon, hoodies and knifes. Literally every town.

I actually thought a same thing a few times. I couldn't wrap my brain around that fact and I though it was just a placebo effect or something, since I've never seen a game before that has better FPS while on MAX settings. :D

No, they are not. I usually kept objects on medium and textures and other graphical stuff on high but now it's very unplayable, literally I had 17 FPS in Staroe military tents... Which ones should I buff up?

Thanks for the answers! I can't wait for 0.63 to reach stable, now it's somewhat bland without all these items. About the FPS, it's still wierd to me. I have FX8320E (3.4 GHz), RX470 4GB, 8 GB's of DDR3 1333MHz RAM, it's not bad configuration but it played much better in 0.62. Also, I always used to play on low pop servers for increased FPS, but now since it's experimental I got over that part of lost FPS. Lightweight vest shouldn't be that difficult on stamina bar. I mean, I had bolt action rifle, almost empty rope-bulrap backpack and vest. I couldn't run for 5 seconds straight. It's not balanced enough, I think.
