[Youtube Link] Time is 26th second. Watch carefully. This is from Arma 3, DayZ Mod, or which I call it fake mod. This is good takedown but I don't think all people are going to like it. In close-combat fights it would give you unfair abillity. For example, for takedown we need to be near the back of player and press E. And now, imagine fight. You carry axe and I have knife. I can just run around you until I get near your back and press E. You'll be dead and have no abillity to ressist animation to take you down. It's good to have this, but I think it will be hard to balance it for both sides. You can't just expect that you are takedown terminator and can kill everyone just by going behind them and spamming E.

Hey, it would be awesome to be able to turn off chat. I mean, litteraly every private server spams me with Battleye messages or 'My stomatch is stuffed' message can't stop... Remember that moment when you were eating human meat with your buddy and it was raining? It could be pretty nice wallpaper screenshot for your desktop until message 'I am cooling off' popped up? Tired of some random Russian spamming chat / Boring Battleye spam chat? Well you could turn off those things to get less HUD interface and more gameplay.

I don't want to use, neither buy Photoshop for editing screenshot from game that can have abillity to turn of text. No, I mean ALL server messages, status messages and player chat. Why to disable server messages only when a guy can come and spam your chat. I am rapidly cooling off.

We were able to put alcohol in First Aid Kit, but now we can't. I made a bug report about adding it back but moderator locked it and said it's a design choice without letting us decide can we put Alcohol in kit. Most of Medical Kits contain Ethanol (Alcohol) or Hydrogen Peroxide, so why can't we put Alcohol inside FAK? They usually carry both hydrogen peroxide and alcohol, but mostly they use peroxide because it doesn't hurt when its poured on wound. Finished FA training ^-^

I didn't know that you can store water in Tincture. I just wanted to place Alcohol to clean rags and wounds and save slots in medkit. I have 1 free slot in kit ( I dropped that water tablet ) and I can't use it to put medical item in FAK.

Maybe just add abillity to put Alcohol Tincture only?

I've played ARMA 2 and 3 and as far as I can say, SP was much better than MP. They got a little better MP in Arma III with that roleplay, but still, I'd rather play SP.

It would be awesome to have built-in campaign with awesome story. Imagine something like the Last of Us or story like that.

I know it is a lot early to talk about campaign mode in single-player, but I've always wondered. You bought game. You get to play only Multiplayer. While Arma 3 was in Early stages, I got in for Alpha testing and they had MP and few showcases only. I am kinda wondering what will happen to DayZ? I mean, when we release game, we shouldnt have MP only, there is entertainment in campaign also! :D So my thoughts about this topic are : - Will there be Singleplayer? - Will there be Campaign missions like Arma 3 has? If yes, I wonder how will they look like? Who will be main character? What will story be about? :D Post what you guys think!

Hello guys, can anyone explain to me how much damage can ballistic and how much Gorka helmet can take up to? Also, make sure you take visor on and off, so you can see if theres more protection added. I got both of them, I hear Gorka was a bit buggy ( I've personally reported that to Feedback forum ) they say they fixed it, but people still say its buggy. Is it right? Which one is better? I have checked DayZ Wiki, but honestly I need player's rating, because only players know how much damage does it really take.

Thanks for your help guys! And I am wondering, Can your helmet protect you if you are shot in head, not helmet. I mean If you are shot in eye for example, will it be same as they shoot you in helmet? And, does visor actually work? Do they increase protection or anything? And where can I find them?

Im not good with close range combat so I always take Mosin. Everyone has his own style of attacking, so stick with it.

Well, if you look in rain, and raindrops falls in your eye you can't see if you don't blink your eye and remove water. If you want DayZ to be that much realistic add pooping in game. :P Waterdrop on screen is one of coolest things in graphic I've ever seen, adds a lot of fun and relism.

I beg you, I double beg you motherfucker, please make something like this! PLEASE! Just look at AWESOMNESS of this great and epic main menu. Please make something like that. Also, death log... comeone this one is boring, I usually quesstions myself ' OH! A black screen? Wait, did night fall that fast? Oh no, I am just dead...'. Please make some animation or something like that when player is fighting for his life but you know that you will die, make it like Far Cry or BF4 death animation or something, please! Look at interactive objects with inventory, they look awesome! I know this is going to be in game but make it something like this. Also, on second video, Inventory system seems AWESOME and ultra epic. I don't like current one because color is way much boring and somehow annoying. Also, I wanted to MENTION that you can rotate objects it inventory, which means no more annoying reorganising backpack because it cant fit horizzontally. And my suggestions : - Make us able to craft a small ( but not so small ) tent that we can use. It will require some wood and leather or animal skin. - Make rain more fun. Please, this is one of my biggest wishes, and also why I over-rate every game's graphic with this feature. Add raindrops on screen. Just imagine two people meeting each other on mountain :D - Fix Apartment buildings, so we can CLOSE doors. This will really improve sniping. - Make us able to build our custom characters ( I set style of hair, color of my hair, eyes and else... like Sims 3 ! ) - To make us able to improve roleplay of medicine, add some items like those : If someone shoots us with a medium damage gun, for example CR75 handgun, bullet will stay in your stomatch. To take it out, you need item ( Dont really know how to say it on english, it's something like dentist use to take your tooth out, it's in Dayz but no one uses it ) If you dont take bullet out, you can bandage but your character will keep complaining about that and you wont be able to regain health so fast. Also, make us able to have some use of Alcohol ( I know, we can use it, but I want it to be like if you put alcohol on bandage, it will disinfect it. It's not realistic to bandage yourself and then Use tincture ) Also, make some use of syringe bottle and syringe it self. Maybe there should be two bottles, one with painkiller and anthoner one like vitamins ( But vitamins that will actually work ). - Make us able to use trunk of V3S, because everyone hates when there aren't any jerry cans nearby and also they cant hold them while driving! - Make us able to make something like camp items ( I know they are in base building options, but we need it! ) So we can make leather tents and etc. Also, when you chop down tree, it shouldn't fall out of ground, it should leave like a wodden chair or something ( bottom of tree is still in ground, topper body of tree fell off ) - Add SNIPER RIFLE that supports Atlas Bipod.

New year's here with new beginnings. I bought DayZ more than half year ago. DayZ was fun for me, even if I didn't mind bugs because I always knew a way to avoid them and to enjoy game. Enivroment, sniping, HUGE map with things to do and see.. Haven't played Mod, even if I wanted so, but I gave up because I knew most of things will get added. Looking from the beginning to now, DayZ has made HUGE upgrade. A lot less bugs, new AI, cools of new items and weapons, animations and suprises! Althrought, there may be still some bugs like thing about Hackers and zombies clipping through walls ( which I think they fixed a bit, because now it happens really rare and I can trap zombies inside buildings. I am pretty proud because I bought this awesome game, I always wanted to buy game like this, where you can experience really realistic things, social events, chilling with friends in campfire, sniping while it rains, helping newbies. I just wanted to say that this game has made a lot improvments and it has long way foward. Guys, this game is really hard to script so please have some patience towards developers, they are doing their best, and Dean also used to do his best on this game. DayZ, you're doing a great job so far, I wish you'll be one of most popular games when you get released ( long way, but still looking foward, heads up, we've reached 0.50 with no time! ). This isn't something like CoD or Battlefield, this is unique game where you gotta have feelings about roleplay. Merry X-mas and happy new year! :)

Hi, I just wanted to ask someone why our characters always get wiped after every update? I mean, thats totally lame. You spend hours and hours, days and days to find perfect things and all that, and in month you gotta start all over again? If your answer is because people hack, no, I dont hack and I dont want to be ANY interrupted by other players behavior. If your answer is bug abusing, as far as I know in this version you arent able to get cloned or some shit, so you get real loot, not cloned one. If by clearing characters you get less lag, then why dont we delete inactive players? Comeone, Its total pain in ass to get new character after each update, please fix this!

My friend told me that after every stable update they get they get a character wipe. I bought game recently and it was my first restart. Is Bohemia working on fixing hacker things?
