Hello, I think we should add a new animation, sounds and effects when you are about to die, instead of instant black screen. Have you ever played in night and thought what just happen? Why my screen is black suddenly? *2 seconds later when 'You are Dead' sign appears* Oh, yes, I just died. I think, for example when you die, your character goes in prone animation and effects and sounds start doing their part ( Eyes closing and opening, character's painfull dying sound and then when eyes are closed, black screen is on and then it should say you are dead ) https://youtu.be/IvjAlbTWju0?t=133 ( Turn down volume if you don't like loud sounds ) Like it's shown in the video, you can clearly see how awesome does it look. I hope developers will accept this suggestion because it adds more fun than seeing actual 'YOU DIEDED' sign. :)

Those effects are because of low blood. Not death effects.

That sudden text effect is used by games from 90's. Things have to change. You get one shoot from Mosin and just you are dead black screen? Even effect of you fighting for life gives you a bit more sense for fighting for life but knowing that you can't do anything about it. That's the real life also. You still think that you can get through and try to fight for life, even knowing that you'll die. Things change if you get 360 noscope headshot. I think when it's headshot, it should be effect that we use right now, insta black screen with 'You dieded' message.

They are awesome now. Only bad thing is, they can hit you with 360 noscope from behind. That's what I dont like. Also, when you hit them and while they are swinging their body back ( from hit ) they still hit you even if they didnt even swing hands. Please, I'm going to say it one more time. Zombies aren't dead, they are infected!

We do realise it, but you need to realise that DayZ isn't in Beta and there'll be more wipes because of bugged items and stuff. I would love to have everything you mentioned there, but we need to give it some more time before we can experience real wars and building camps. I myself got one camp, but it's hard to maintain it because of persistent loot that is fuc*ed up, some items spawn, some don't, and farming items and other stuff disappear like they shouldn't do.

Hello. I need some help to determinate how to see server's provider? I've found a really rude named server, breaking MANY rules set by Community. Proof : http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=413438570 I've read server rules & req. to report server, but still I cannot find servers provider. Oh and also, if someone wants to make this server's owner life worse, feel free to use my evidence against that server because I rarely have time and I'll probably report this server in a week or so. Breaking rules ( If someone decides to report them ) - Obviously rude name of server - Locking server after it was open - Loot farming ( 2 people are inside for all the fresh loot in world of Chernarus! ) - Kicking all players for no reason. Probably there are more but I couldn't remember more of penalities.

It would be awesome to see few more items from this list to be seen in game. - Multi-tool knifes ( Begin able to open cans, use them as knifes and lock doors ; Shall only be found at millitary locations ) [ Multi-tool Knife ] - Lighter ( Same as matches, lights fire and gets job done. We should be able to refill it with fuel from gas cans until game develops more and adds lighter fluid ) [ Lighter ] - Survival Knife ( Should be only found at heli crashes or rarely in barracks. With sharp edge, you could make a spark to light fire, etc ; Can't be placed in boots as other mil. knife in game ) [ Survival Knife ] - Watches ( They can tell you server time, also make two versions : One civillian watch and other military watch. Military watches should have abillity to produce some low light in case you want to see what's the time in dark. ) [ Watch - Civilian version ] [ Watch - Military version ]

Because they are called army knifes. I don't think that villagers from former CCCP had a luxory Mil. knife in their pockets, neither homes. Also, I didn't mention Swiss knife because I don't want Bohemia to ask Victorinox for license. I just want un-licensed millitary multi-tool knife.

Yeah, but I don't think that civillian multi-tool thingies would have attachments for things that I've mentioned above. I got one myself, it has knife, screwdriver, scissors and nail thingy. The one that I've mentioned in texts has can openers, knife, and lock picking screwdrivers etc. which normally you dont get to have unless you buy millitary pack ( I was in Swiss once, they are f* expensive! ) There is actually lighter fluid, I don't know how you refill lighter because I haven't done that in real life. Of course, you don't want to toss $50 worth silver lighter just because it doesn't have fuel, would you? I quess not, so you're going to refill lighter. About watches, I don't know. Once, long time ago I was watching a video from Youtube about pirate version of DayZ SA, and lol, they had watches but later they removed it. Even watch from ARMA 3 would be awesome, but I think it has old-school style :)

I think this is good and realistic idea, but I think it should be the way it is now. I don't feel like I would want to have super bandit-Terminators on my back that can change their weapons and from M4 to Mosin. Good idea, been suggested many times, but sadly, I don't think it will make it. Also, you have AKSU and MP5K as second primary guns, so whats the big deal? :D

[Youtube Link] Time is 26th second. Watch carefully. This is from Arma 3, DayZ Mod, or which I call it fake mod. This is good takedown but I don't think all people are going to like it. In close-combat fights it would give you unfair abillity. For example, for takedown we need to be near the back of player and press E. And now, imagine fight. You carry axe and I have knife. I can just run around you until I get near your back and press E. You'll be dead and have no abillity to ressist animation to take you down. It's good to have this, but I think it will be hard to balance it for both sides. You can't just expect that you are takedown terminator and can kill everyone just by going behind them and spamming E.

Hey, it would be awesome to be able to turn off chat. I mean, litteraly every private server spams me with Battleye messages or 'My stomatch is stuffed' message can't stop... Remember that moment when you were eating human meat with your buddy and it was raining? It could be pretty nice wallpaper screenshot for your desktop until message 'I am cooling off' popped up? Tired of some random Russian spamming chat / Boring Battleye spam chat? Well you could turn off those things to get less HUD interface and more gameplay.

I don't want to use, neither buy Photoshop for editing screenshot from game that can have abillity to turn of text. No, I mean ALL server messages, status messages and player chat. Why to disable server messages only when a guy can come and spam your chat. I am rapidly cooling off.

We were able to put alcohol in First Aid Kit, but now we can't. I made a bug report about adding it back but moderator locked it and said it's a design choice without letting us decide can we put Alcohol in kit. Most of Medical Kits contain Ethanol (Alcohol) or Hydrogen Peroxide, so why can't we put Alcohol inside FAK? They usually carry both hydrogen peroxide and alcohol, but mostly they use peroxide because it doesn't hurt when its poured on wound. Finished FA training ^-^
