First of all. I doubt it would have the blood type as it'll make the blood test kit invalid. Second of all I don't think there is much functionality to a wallet. Maybe for anesthetics. And if you think about it. Very rarely in a post apocalyptic world will you think to take your wallet with you. But it would be nice to have. -
I like your ideas! I'm sure they'll add more plants and interactions with them. But I see it much later down the development line.

Like everyone stated, it's in Alpha. And do keep in mind that games usually take years to complete (3-5). Dayz Standalone early access was just released Dec 16 of last year. It's been less then a year for them developing the game. So what they have done and accomplished so far is magnificent in my opinion. Also if you read the latest Status Report, they are working on network optimizations. Be patient and wait. If you need to take a break do so. You can come back in beta or release. Have fun.

Good Idea. But they are working on the core gameplay. But I'm sure later on they'll polish it up and make features like you stated.

I agree with Exorade. They'll have to implement it in a way were it won't be accidentally used. Maybe a confirmation box or something. Like press to commit suicide. Box pops up and asks the question "Are you sure?" Press yes or no. Or could be done a different way. I'm thinking about it from a programming perspective of course.

Yea I agree with you. I've gotten backlash stating what you just said. I prefer it to be more survival and less military fps shooter. Make the weapons rare and hard to get. But I think once the zombies are fixed/multiplied and dangerous wildlife is added. It'll help solve the PK/KoS.

Good information. I knew that different weapons hit differently and in different places. But some don't so I think this will give people insight on the placeholder melee system. I'm waiting for the actuary melee system to be released. :) -
Addressing the OP. I agree with the others. The emotions behind the character your playing should be invoked inside you. A good example is when someone is getting shot at their first response is to run. After you run, if decide your going to fight back your hands and such sways and is harder to fight because of fatigue. I like how it is currently. To counter KoS....Will be fixed in time. Think about it logically. Once they up the zombies to 5-10k on the map, including dangerous wild life, base building, car modifying, etc...Those features will inadvertently make people not KoS and instead work together. Think about it in real life. If there are presently dangers around people tend to work together. If there isn't then they turn on each other because there is nothing else to do. I believe it'll fix itself in time. Have fun playing!

Rocket did say they haven't implemented collision detection. For one it's supposed to help with zombie clipping, but it can probably detect other things like bullets going through windows or walls. Wait until collision detection comes out and try again. Or report this to the dev hub or suggestions.

First of all I highly doubt they'll let cross server vehicles. More than likely vehicles will be persistent to the server. As for the looting...yea they are still working on it and balancing it out. I'm not sure how they are going to do it, but I'm sure they'll find a way to solve it.

I'm going to stop here. It seems like you don't read my posts clear enough or something. I wasn't talking about settings or adding or taking things out. All I was saying was I prefer the game to have more improvised items, civilian items instead of guns, guns, guns. Like maybe a bat with a nail in it, or a 2x4, etc...What I said about Call of Duty was just a figure of speech. And I don't know why you even went into gameplay and I don't want to know...Anyways you assume to much so it's my last reply to you...

It's all right it happens. Next time just remember to have a splint ready before you go up to high places. It's a kind of way to deal with the bugs in Alpha. I always carry or make splints before I check high places. But I've actually never ran into this bug. Also that's pretty funny you fell 30 feet and nothing. Lol Btw you should try to replicate it and see if it happens again. If it does report it in the devhub so the devs can take a look and fix it. :) Keep having fun!

Report it in the dev hub. Could possibly be a bug. Try to reproduce it.

One question. If you where going upstairs and on the boat. Why didn't you just crawl off the edge and fall. You would died and been able to respawn. Also that's why you always carry sticks and rags with you. To make splints!

I can share your frustration. If you've developed programs you would know that if you have a broken program it's easier to just start from scratch rather then debugging and modifying the broken program. Essentially that's what they are doing, which is good in the long wrong. But the bad thing is they figured that out a bit late and caused the community to be a bit apprehensive. After all it is still Alpha and they give us the multiple warnings about it. Just keep being patient and they'll fix it. I hope it's sooner then later.

It was during an interview with Rocket. He stated that he wanted to change the opening door mechanic and listed a few of his ideas on how to do it. It's not set in stone as to what he said. I'm sure they'll try new things and tweak it to work fluidly and not clunky.

Seems like your having issues with your graphics. Did you make sure all your drivers are up to date? If not update them. It could fix the issue. All I can say is read and understand the context. And see it for what it is and not what you assume it is. Dayz is supposed to be a survival game. I prefer to not have it turn into lets say call of duty.

You guys should do some more searching and reading. Rocket has already said that the zombies are incomplete until: A. Navmesh is completed. B. Server Optimization/64 bit servers. C. AI. D. Collision Detection. E. Zombie animations is completed. Which they are working on. Also Rocket has also in one of his interviews said that they are working on a new AI and re-spawning system. In which he said if you clear an area or a town the zombies would stop spawning in that area and instead spawn around and outside the area you cleared. He didn't go into details on the mechanics or how they are going to do it. But I believe once they have it implemented it'll be great. Again like everyone has said, please stop complaining because it is Alpha. Instead of complaining, report it and give constructive criticism. Be patient and you will see it fixed. Patience is a virtue. :)
