We're gonna give this a try as well. We've seen our server slip just a little from the Top 10 so trying to spice things up a bit :) As for the immediate future, people are still reporting their tents are disappearing after a server restart unfortunately. I'd make sure you can keep your tent before next week even comes. I believe that we'll see another persistence "wipe" when .56 is deployed and not before. <<< purely my opinion :)

Apologies in advance if this has already been covered. I have not had enough time to go through the last 3 or 4 pages, but does anybody have news that with this week's maintenance will wipe the tents etc? Any indication that we'll see a player wipe anytime soon? <<< Curious b/c of the new loot economy and loot distribution and feel a wipe is coming one way or another. ....anybody else bored at the moment? I've done all that I can besides just wonder the map aimlessly. Seriously I've visited all the new camp sites, hunted plenty, farmed plenty, killed lots of infected, had a few run ins with other players (not very many) and gathered enough loot for myself to hide out a few days if needs be and really don't wanna continue to hop around just searching for loot. I have truck so I can go anywhere, but i'm running out of places that are worth the gas/time to drive too. Any suggestions? I might just sit out until Wednesday afternoon as I don't know what else to do with my character :(

Yeah its really annoying especially if you're in a heated situation where the last thing you want is to see your character stuck trying to go up an incline. Is anybody having issues with their character going up inclines? Paved road or off road, my character (female) that has been alive since .54 has issues going up inclines. I simply get stuck running/jogging/walking in place and have to strafe left or right to keep going up hill. I have video footage of it that i'm going to compile and send as a feedback tracker if I don't find another one already. Highly annoying when you're trying to evade the infected >:(

Found matches and flares but have yet to find a cooking pot in northern towns, nor the tripod. No fresh fruit either. On another note, I had my first real run in with a pack of zombies. After a restart I found myself getting attacked by one right as I logged in and unfortunately drew a crowd of 12 of them as I tried to run and evade the first one. I got extremely lucky that I had a friend close by who saved me from death as the zombies broke my arm and my leg. It was truly a frightful experience but when it was all done and over with, it was one of those moments where all I could say was THAT WAS COOL!!! I am definitely a fan of the new infected and even if I had perished from that experience, I still would have thought it was cool.

Good to see they're trying to get us an update with cooking ware, matches etc today. I am very hopeful this will be fixed as i'm starting to get short on food :) Been surviving off the land in the North since the update and my character has been through hell and back from the infected, to bandits, to simply surviving. Ran into a few players who felt the conversation was better suited with the use of bullets but thankfully I came out on the winning end of those meetings. I mainly found myself happy to have found food and other gear suited for hunting/gathering over the usual guns and ammo upon looting these poor survivors. I thought that was an interesting milestone for myself personally. I am happy to report I am fully hydrated, healthy and energized currently, but I ran into a strange glitch and/or bug upon a scheduled server restart that I have not been able to replicate again but wanted to mention it here. Right before the server restart my character was showing bright green for hydration and energy. As soon as I logged back in upon the server coming back up, I found my status in both hydration and energy to be RED. Thankfully I had a friend logged in near me, and I had a few cans of soda and beans, but in that very short time, I lost nearly all my blood and my screen was black and white. Its as if several game time hours went on between the server going down and restarting. Anybody else found their status like this upon logging back in? I really wanna report it on the feedback tracker if I can replicate it again....... For those who are having a hard time getting healthy, just know its possible if you dedicate your play time to it. Hunt, loot, do whatever it takes b/c it is possible: Also I have noticed now upon finding 4 police cars that were all stuck in fences, they spawned zero loot.....might not having anything to do with the fences, but thought it odd and too coincidental. Stay strong survivors. Its a Jungle out there ;)

Server is much more stable with this update as far as our scheduled restarts are concerned. We've seen our scheduled restarts consistent since this past Wednesday with little to no interaction. THANKS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT AND THANK YOU FOR HELPING REPORT GLITCHER'S AND HACKERS. We've submitted several feedback trackers among the admins thanks to your help!

This is a great website! Can you help add in our server? I've tried searching for it and can't find it :( The details are in my signature.

With .55 now out and as many of you already know, our Public Server is now Persistent. We will maintain 2 hour restarts.

I've noticed items in my backpack are always re-arranged upon logging back in to a server. I specifically put my most important items in the bottom of my backpack and and they always find their way to the top when I log back in :(. I have not had the issue of items on the ground like you've mentioned. Can you recall if this is happening on persistent or non-persistent servers? Or both?

I can't get sick from drinking water from any source currently. I have done like others in here by drinking water almost to the point where i'm going to vomit but yet no change to my health nor getting messages that i'm not feeling well. I left my character idle for nearly 20 mins letting my orange "Stuffed" status fade to yellow and still nothing about getting sick from drinking non-purified water. ......bummer dude.

Me too. We just reported one via the feedback tracker since we got good video evidence. I will say the Dev's have really been stepping up the anti-cheat in the last few updates so make sure if you witness somebody using a hack, report it to the feedback tracker: http://feedback.dayzgame.com/my_view_page.php

That's good info if its indeed the issue. Good on you to send them the time stamps as well :thumbsup: Curious, is this player's inventory corrupted due to a cheat/hack or maybe even duplicated gear? We continue to see freezes shortly before our 2 hour restart. Its not all the time, but usually among the admins a message will get sent out to each other that the server froze and was manually restarted. Keep us updated on what Fragnet mentions. They'll probably just reply with the info that they sent this information to BI which of course is a good thing. Also it might be worth opening a feedback tracker on this.
