Special thanks to Starvingart who helped me get a sedan unstuck last night. Damn thing nearly killed Art trying to move it. Wish I had shadow play (or i guess its now know as Shield?) turned on b/c the car flipped up on its driver's side and then settled back down again. It ruined one wheel/tire in the process but thankfully we were not far from a town where we found a new one. Have not seen a vehicle flip like that since early on in .59 exp. My take on the whole process is that it appears as if the vehicle placement on the map is "off". For example, it appeared that the car was wedged between two trees which forced it to be stuck, however from our view points, the trees were far enough apart to where the car only looked like it was parallel parked in between them and not actually touching the trees. After much finessing, taking off the wheel/tires, logging in and out, Art finally got the car to move but it flipped as I mentioned and now was away from the two trees mentioned above. It was all worth the work that we put into it as I drove off with another friend finding a NATO crash site shortly after we hit the road and at the site picked myself up an FAL and a mag. :thumbsup: -

Yeah i've been bored again with playing unfortunately and am ready for .60 exp to be here. Glad to see you guys using the TS, that's what its there for. Please let me know if you need anything with regards to it. I'll be around this weekend. -
If its a popular server with lots of traffic, its likely the barrels are just spread out in places where people have hid them for themselves. Try searching another server to see if your results are the same, and if that's the case, it could be as you say, other items like jerry can's etc are taking up the slots. Just purely a guess but might be worth investigating and report back :thumbsup:

Done good sir. Thanks for filing that. Also thanks for the tip on the cars. Vehicle worked just fine right before I exited. Got back in and the screen had a blur effect from the car being stuck. Walked away as you mentioned, came back and wha la. Car was unstuck. :beans: :thumbsup: Happy Holidays everybody!!!!

Yes they seem to be riddled with issues. Try taking off the wheels and putting them back. It has helped me in the past. Also if you have large items in the inventory, try taking those items out and then try and drive. If you need those items you took out, leave your vehicle running while you get out (leave it in neutral of course) and recollect your items and see what happens. Also if available, have another vehicle bump yours a little bit forward. We did this yesterday with an offroad that was stuck and it helped get it going again.

Anybody else disappointed when getting to a crash site (NATO and Russian) and not finding to much? I found a few crash sites last night up near Green Mountain and they all had stuff at them, but nothing too exciting. Mostly high cap vests, parts to AK's, canteens' and a few other misc. items. No ammo or guns so far. Gonna keep hunting this evening (if I have time) to see if anything has changed but so far been disappointed with what i'm finding. Just a friendly reminder that folks here on the forums are more than welcome to use my TS for DayZ. See my signature below for the address. I have several channels setup for squads to use as well as stable and experimental channels. If you have any questions or concerns about the TS, just send me a PM on here.

Open up this spoiler below for all the commands. These may not all work with DayZ Standalone but if memory serves me correctly to login as admin to your own server you do as follows: 1.) Be in Game 2.) Using in-game chat, type without quotes "#login password" <<<< Whatever password you set when your first setup your server. You can also use RCON via DART ( https://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/68933-dart-a-lightweight-dayz-and-arma-rcon-tool-v21-11102015/) to admin your server. I used to find this way much better than in game.

Alright, the glock is finally in. :beans: :beans: This IMHO should be the most durable hand gun there is in the game. Mine in real life is a champ and I put several hundred rounds through it a year. All I do is clean it religiously after a shooting session and its ready for the next time every time. -
In a nutshell, they will provide faster loading vs. loading rounds individually with your hands/fingers. I'm assuming with the newui they will change how you load ammo. This is not my video below, but I own a couple of SKS' rifles and have these exact same stripper clips. This will give you an idea of how quickly you can put 10 rounds into the gun and have it ready to fire. The stripper clips were designed for combat so a soldier could quickly pull 10 rounds from his pouch/bag/etc. and slide them into his weapon. Just imagine having to individually load rounds in the heat of a battle. It would be a matter of life and death in some cases depending on how close the enemy was to you.

YES!!! So glad we'll continue to see updates before the Holiday break. I like experimental so much better than Stable these days :) -
Absolutely. I will add in more channels tonight and know exactly what you mean when there are too many people in one channel but on separate servers. If any of you would like to help me Operate the server I'll be happy to change your status so you have the ability to move people and/or crate sub channels.

So glad you guys are having fun and finding the TS useful for reporting info based on this build. I'm glad to have played a bit last week with all of you (except Gary and Tatanko). Was able to start up a 3PP character yesterday with the help of a few regulars on the TS and made my way up north. They were so kind to have gathered a bunch of car parts for me so now all I need to do is find a vehicle and outfit it with all its parts. I really enjoy being the driver/mechanic and I know Brooks does as well. Be more than happy anytime to help get a vehicle up and running with you guys. Saw a few Aussies on yesterday morning as well. Anybody playing stable and reading this, feel free to use the TS. If you can't get in for some reason based on the url its tied to, just PM me and I'll get you the IP. If we continue to get a lot of people on the TS I can setup sub-channels if people need some privacy and/or quiet while playing. :thumbsup: :thumbsup: BoneBoys - Thanks again for you post in Exp. Of course man! You guys are always welcome! Had a great time playing last night. Just wanted to post a few pics from my point of view when I first met up with Cold, Bio Brooks and Evan. Bus slowly rolled into Svet with Brooks at the wheel. As been reported, there are still some issues with wheels/tires. From my screen we were missing the front passenger side and the rear driver's side but it still drove. The guys had put these wheels on way before they drove into svet but they somehow despawned. While waiting for the guys to pick me up, I managed to trap 6 zombies in the Church as I didn't have a weapon with ammo nor a melee yet. Never fear, the guys showed up and Cold and Bio took them all out. Of course with that many gun shots going off we attracted a bunch more to the square. Another shot of Cold hard at work planting pumpkins for us all to eat. Really had a blast guys. Hope to see some of you on this weekend. I'll setup more sub channels on the TS in case it gets a bit hectic with so many people in one channel.

Hey guys, thanks again so much for using the TS. I'm so very happy to bring a lot of us together while we play. Lots of great screen shots and input being shared. With that said, I will be on tonight around 6:00 PM CST and later. Hope some of you can make it as it would be an honor to play along side you guys. -

Even if you turn your sound effects down? I know its annoying to have to do so, but I will never forget the first time I started up the VS3 and let my ears bleed. OMG that was sooooo loud. Give it a try if you have not already. It will save your ears and you won't have to scream at your friends while in or around the vehicle. -

Once in Gorka, Girth Brooks and emuthreat arrived with their glorious chariot. Then we made our way to a lot near some barns and military tents and took a short break. Boredom sets in and shenanigans ensue. I didn't have any need for looting much so I stayed near the bus and ducked into the nearby bus wreck for a little cover. Then I start to hear bullets bouncing around and think someone is punching something, then quickly realize I am being fired upon and lay prone. Cold, emu, and Brooks, got eyes on the assailant and returned fire but his death was never confirmed. We then made our way towards the coast and discovered a sedan stuck on a stanchion. 2 towns, an encounter with a friendly (forgot to take pics), and 4 tires later we were back to the sedan. After a test bump on the front end it was decided that knocking it loose from the rear was best, but only after removing the tires. Tires stashed safely, the car sitting so serenely, little does it know.... ....that a fucking BUS is about to plow into it sending it careening into the road! This is the longest ghost ride I've seen in the SA and the car seemed to be moving about running speed. emuthreat was ready to try to toss a tire in it's way but thankfully it came to a graceful stop on the side of a house. After some problems with some of the tires not showing up on the vehicle and ghost duping you couldn't deny how stately she appears up on all fours. Brooks took a break and schwaBAM logged out, not long after that the rest of us split up to look for Heli's and then met up near a town where emu had some barrels. Cold and I dumped our Heli loot in the barrels and Brooks rejoined. That's when I logged out. Thanks to Brooks and emuthreat for letting us tag along on the bus adventures. (*Nice driving Brooks!) It was nice to meet up with schwaBAM as well, it's always cool to meet a friend of a friend. It's great to meet some of the regulars and I hope it becomes a common occurrence. *Special thanks to TheRiddler for supplying the TS3 for us to chat on. Glad you popped in to say hi. You guys look like you had a great time. Sure wish I could have joined but it was nice to talk to some of you even if it was only for a few minutes. Hoping my work schedule starts to free up as we get closer to the holidays. I'd love to join in the fun and record some of this gameplay together. Great team work guys! -

Good advice S3V3N - I too found keeping pristine wheels on any of the new vehicles will allow it to roll better. I've even found rotating the wheels even when pristine seems to help too if you're having an issue. Hoping to see that fix released today as Brian Hicks mentioned regarding rubber banding etc. I was out of town this past weekend but heard from a few of you on TS that it was pretty bad :( -

Ok, so I just couldn't help myself. I got off a little early and before I have to attend a dinner meeting :( , I was able to find this little guy B) Helicopter crash was located on the road north west of Green Mountain. If you were to take the road that passes in front of the gates to the tower heading northwest, its the chopper on the right that is actually on the road. I even found 20 loose rounds and a mag. I don't get attached to gear but this one was worth sharing especially in exp. I can't believe how lucky I got to find this. I have not even found the SVD yet :blush: Server was Southwest 0-1 :thumbsup:
