Give them server hoppers something else to gear up with. I'm sure they get really bored after the seventeenth AK101 anyway. I'm glad that they'll get some variety in their military grade hardware. Excellent. I was almost getting tired of seeing bands of M4 and AK toting camouflaged KOSers. Now I can get gunned down in some quality Austrian craftsmanship.

I don't know for sure, but I think a Leather Repair Kit will mend it, though you can reinforce it with Duct Tape.

Oddly, enough...take all the Russian writing out, the signs with town names, the flags... And Chernarus is basically identical to the Ozarks in Arkansas where I live. The similarities in the terrain and foliage and landscape are, for me, actually somewhat eerie. You know...minus the ocean. We don't have one of those.

DayZ should implement some sort of command, animation, or option to simple put things into the backpacks of another player, or place them in their inventory. Dropping things on the ground to give them to somebody is very clumsy. It makes no real sense and it takes up unnecessary time. It is the cause of much frustration as well, since things do not often drop where you are standing and items like to teleport to the outside of buildings, different floors, or simply phase out of the current plane of existence so Booker DeWitt can wear them to his next racial equality conference in a world where the grass is blue and hamburgers eat people. Here's some ideas on how it would work... - When facing a player, open your inventory. Right clicking on an object you have will pop up a new option, but only when you are looking at a stationary player within arm's length of you: Give 7.62 x 51mm to Rags Give Green Ushanka to Rags Give Pen to Rags Give Rags to Rags This will begin an animation that will only last a second, maybe two, maybe three. During this animation, the receiving player will receive a notification... Rags is giving you something At this time, the player may cancel the gesticulation by simply moving. Any movement will cancel the giving animation and the process will fail. Changing items in your hands will also cancel the gift. A player can, however, simultaneously give you an item back at the same time. This would cut down on time spent giving items, especially if there is only one item you wish to give somebody. A failure message can optionally be displayed... Rags is moving Rags has declined Rags is moving too much to give him the item Cannot give Rags the Green Ushanka Ain't nobody got time fo' dat Items will be placed into the first open space in the person's inventory that has enough space. If there is not enough space another message can be displayed... There is not enough room in Rags' inventory Rags cannot carry the Green Ushanka Rags doesn't have enough space There is no room for the Green Ushanka Hopefully, this will make it into the game. This will act as an option to dropping items on the ground, which will still be doable. It's only a suggestion, and I don't think it's immensely elaborate. Hopefully an idea like this will make it's presence in the game so that we all don't end up staring at the ground looking like a bunch of lemons.

I'm making an (unofficial, obviously) soundtrack for Cherno...

Nope. -
Throw down a road flare inside of one. Invite your friends. Club Contayner is now open.

If they are going to run out of water after 5,000 - 10,000 hits, you might as well just keep them eternally usable. That's like saying your gun will jam every 3,673,238 bullets.

Slow zombies wouldn't really be...menacing. They certainly wouldn't be dangerous. You would just walk away from them.

If you didn't hear anything, I'll bet it was diabetes. It's the silent killer.
-
That's about the only game you'll be playing, too.
-
Don't try and justify your cowardice and playing in a manner that's obviously not the design of the game.

I'd prefer opening a door to a basement...

Because everybody spawns in the same general area and because the loot respawn system isn't ironed out well enough to support that many people all looting at once.

Ran across a duper's lair this morning... There were three AKMs, fully decked out, piles of magazines for AKMs and AK-74s, drum magazines, PSO sights, piles of extra ammo, a couple AK-74s, Hunting Backpacks, protector cases full of magazines and even more ammunition...it was insane. All of this was in the little barn North of Kamishovo.

One of these naked Chernarussian Yetis spawns around the gas station North of Dubrovka.

There's an immense amount of civilian clothing that resembles, or could be mistaken for, military like gear that's colored in tan, beige, or green and olive drab colors. Fleece jackets, wool coats, sweaters, long sleeve shirts, all of these would be ideal for living in the woods in a normally cold environment. Plus, as a resident of Arkansas where hunting is very popular, camouflaged clothing is surprisingly very easy to find at stores.

I don't fully trust anybody until I get their Steam name and a friend request. People don't give their Steam names to people they intend to betray. That being said, some of the best friends that I've ever met have been in DayZ.

Gear is everywhere in this game, provided you know where to look for it. An experienced player who knows his loot spawns can give you valuable insight. Information like knowing where things spawn is incredibly powerful.

Third Person View should be Over-the-Shoulder, NOT a bird's eye view.

Poll numbers are quite surprising. Only 50.7% of people think that the camera should remain as it is. -
The longer you wait, the more the price will increase and the better the game will get. Just consider that. If you love the idea of the finished product, but don't want to deal with the Alpha...then maybe it would be good to still buy it now and save the cash for later. You'll always have it once you buy it.

Yes.

As immersive as it really would be, I think that the aesthetic benefits would be minimal. I would rather see a wet character dripping water.

LOL "unbridled fury".
-
I am 100% sure that there is a definite possibility.

Congratulations. You have made the most confusing and mysterious topic I have ever seen on this website.
