Played Experimental lately? -
I don't like all of these ideas, but This needs to happen yesterday because I'm tired or controlling some retard who can't find a rock in a quarry or a stick in the middle of the forest.

I think most people are probably favor the idea of there being both servers for different people...and that many many of those people don't want the view of the 3rd person camera to be so easy to exploit. Your reasoning has some merit, however I think that a person's ability to feel immersion is extremely subjective. I think there is another way to look at it: When you see your character from a third person perspective...you are seeing not only the environment around your character but also the character herself in that actual environment. When she's kneeling by a bush, running through the woods, hiding behind a wall...you see the character as everybody else will see her. In effect, by viewing her from a distance, you are seeing her "immersed" in the environment that she is in. That way, perhaps it is easier to picture her in that scenario...and thus...more relatable? Also, I noticed that the finger I use for my scroll wheel gets a great deal of exercise in any thread where BioHaze is active.

If you can't figure out how a road sign works, perhaps you should wait a little before you work your way up to operating fully automatic military grade weaponry. Maybe try to assemble an armband or a stone knife, and after that maybe you can try to turn a bandanna into a rag. ;)

This may or may not be Exp related... ...but, damn. Those .380 rounds are more underpowered than an analogy for something that lacks appreciable ballistic lethality. Story time, bitches. I was playing and it was nighttime, and some bloke was running in the same field as I was. And after I ascertained that he was not my traveling companion, I pulled out my Mosin and readied to fire at him. Because how dare he exist, the insufferable fucker. Anyway, he was out of grass rendering distance and he clearly saw me because he proned on the ground as if he didn't know what rendering distance was. I eyed him and eyed him, ready to shoot him...but didn't. I was out of breath. Didn't want to spook him. He gets closer and closer and gets in the grass...so I run back a little behind some cover. So this bloke decides to channel his inner George E. Pickett and rushes across the open field towards me with an axe because perhaps he thought the year was 17 AD. But I had a PM-73 Rak ready. So he approaches me and I tell him he is mentally retarded and proceed to shoot him many times with it. In the end, I shot a full 25 round magazine and ten rounds out of another one. I spent 35 rounds to drop this wankstain on the darkly colored polyester washrag that is human reason. I heard the "thump thump" hit sounds over and over...and I was shocked at how many bullets from a submachine gun it took to kill this man. It was like I was playing Arma 3 or something. Anyway, at least the high round capacity of the thing affords me a great margin or error in the accuracy department, but damn...bullet spongey much?

Other games will see much better performance increases than DayZ will. Especially if you're a 1440p gamer like me. That card is overkill for 1080p.

This topic makes me worried about my future wellbeing.

How serious are we talking here? Because I'm a very good speaker with great inflection, but I have this bouncy, cheery, flamboyant-but-not-quite-homosexual voice.

I would send them beer, but I'm afraid it would disappear from their inventory at random.

While we wait for the Stable release and now that all the loot is gone, here's some ways you stand with a steak knife.

It very well might be. Something was up with the server, some sort of setting. I spawned in not hungry, drank a little water at a pond and ate one apple...and that was all I had. By the time I had reached Staroye from Kamishovo I was still neutral.
-
Spawned near Kamishovo and couldn't find a single piece of spawning food in all of that town, though that's no surprise, nor in all of Msta, nor east Staroye. I never went hungry, though...can't say why. Probably a server setting. But it was really barren. I maybe found a couple of shirts and things other people just didn't like, but there was nothing in the way of even a melee weapon or ammunition, no backpack...nothing. And that's searching every building. I always head inland as soon as I can, but...man, it's just a slog at times when you look all over the place and can't find so much as a soda can.
-
You're right. You are a noob.
-
DayZ is not user friendly.
-
Seems mean for a guy that just wanted to sell you some Danishes.
-
You can find landmines at pickup trucks.
-
You know, I guess it's a good thing that this guy couldn't kill a stationary proned target with a dozen shotgun shells. Else you might have been in some trouble.

As a recreational shooter myself, I think that most people who do not shoot scoped firearms fail to realize that sway isn't "sway". To be honest, when you are scoped in on a target at range, you mostly notice the "jiggle" of your hands holding up the firearms that you wouldn't really notice when shooting at close ranges or with iron sights. As for shooting, while the sway in the game isn't realistic, I like it nonetheless. Shooting at things shouldn't be easy. It should be difficult and recoil should be substantial depending on the firearms used. The survival mentality of DayZ, with one bullet kills and long distance spotting and engaging...it wouldn't benefit from making shooting easier. Shooting is not an easy thing to do. Even if it has in-game "unrealism" to it, it should keep mechanics that are believable that keep it challenging and that keep killing other players from becoming far too commonplace and simple.

Can someone confirm zombies are gone ATM?

I saw Zeds at Stary Sobor, Lopatino, and next to Novaya Petrovka. I also saw a few yesterday at MacDonald's, but those might have just been employees.
