Armor is not worth it. The reason is because you can shoot people in the back with a Mosin Nagant and then hit them half a dozen times with 9mm pistol rounds and they still possess the vitality to either return fire or simply flee to safety when they aren't wearing armor, so why bother bogging yourself down with a completely redundant layer of protection?

While I like the loud sound of sprinting and walking footsteps, the volume of footsteps while crouched is too damn high.

I'm having the overheating problem as well. And so is the friend I murde play with. We both started to get overheated when we went to the NWAF, and despite all our efforts to shed clothing, drench ourselves in water, drink drink drink drink...we still were Overheating. But there didn't seem to be any negative health effects. We didn't lose color or anything like that. Is it a bug that you can't bring down your core temperature? Seems unreasonable to me.

Deerstands are excellent loot locations. B95 Mosin Nagant CR527 Longhorns 7.62x39 ammo Shotgun shells Hunting Scopes Hunting Pants Sporter 22 There are many more things that spawn in them, but these are what I regularly find of importance. -
AUG, M4, AK101 and VSS spawn in quonset and tents.

Shit, I just feel lucky to see an M4 handguard spawn in one of those tents now. I'd wager around ~70% of those things spawn nothing at all. -
I cannot wait to get my hands all over this with my SLI Zotac 980 TI Amp Extremes. Once it releases, I'll do some "benchmarks" that show FPS and such all over Chernarus and post it here.

This wouldn't really do too much for the game, as attempting to make "realistic" scope glint in a video game would probably lead to an over-exaggeration of the phenomena. I found this picture on Deviant Fart, as almost all examples of scope glint are from video games, where it is extremely overpowered for balance purposes. I understand why it might be in the game, but I don't think it would make any appreciable difference when character bodies render when things around them don't at certain distances anyway. You would have to have it be so that it takes into consideration angles of light from the sun and all that, then find a way to animate it into the game at a distance without it being to obvious, as character models sorta are already after you pass the grass and shrub render distance. This would probably be an extremely low priority task for BI to work on.

And aiming for a polished product in the end does not exclude buggy alphas beforehand. This is what Alpha and Experimental should be there for. ... I literally laughed aloud at these two consecutive sentences.

Or the inventory space of the bag includes those outside spaces for things. It would be nice to have certain items shown aesthetically on the outside of bags. That would be a nice touch.

Alright. Better option... Vladivostok. Vladivostok is extremely close to two other countries... China and North Korea and is right across the sea from Japan, though the city is Russian. So imagine this major port city with a plethora of urban, suburban, and outside rural areas, but it has an excellent mix of cultures: Russian, North Korea Lite, and North Korea. Harbors could provide an excellent reason to have "exotic" weapons or items on ships, as this is a harbor, and rural areas could be full of buildings in constructions and other such neighborhoods. The mix of cultures and the excellent shape of the mainland itself would be excellent for this game, as in ways it would mirror Chernarus. -
The only one I've ever found was on the body of a player I shot in the face. Ergo... Shooting players in the face spawns VSS rifles.

I've thought about this for a while. It would be a good idea to be able to "reserve" space in your inventory. I can't tell how many PM-73s I've lost because they go to the ground after I pick up that one item where it used to be.
