The pistol holster pouch that attaches to the ballistic plate carrier seems to be bugged. I have a complete ballistic plate carrier set (Carrier, gun holster pouch, additional pouches) and when I try to put my FNX into it it just goes right into my pouches space instead of the gun holster space. Anyone else experiencing this?

Wouldn't press the throw key (Default G) work? You just throw whatever you have in your hands on the ground.

Do they still only spawn 3 at a time per server restart? Do the NATO crashes and Eastern block crashes share the same crash site spawn limit? (IE. 2 NATO crashes and 1 Eastern crash or 1 NATO crash and 2 Eastern crash etc.) What kind of loot do they have now? I heard plate carriers and their parts are heli crash site exclusive, is anything else crash site exclusive? What's the render distance of the NATO crash site smoke? Adam and John are cow farmers. If Adam gives John 1 cow John will have twice as many cows as Adam, but if John gives Adam 1 cow they both would have the same amount. How many cows does Adam have and how many does John have? EDIT: Typos.

Wrong. If John gave Adam a cow John would be left with 4 and Adam would have 5. Are Heli crash sites dynamic spawning now? The other day I looted a NATO crash site and as I left it disappeared right front of me, like loot and all. Another time I looted a crash site then logged to take a break; changed my mind like immediately about the break and rejoined the same server and the crash site was gone. I'm guessing since the crash sites can despawn I'm assuming it's respawning somewhere else?

Lucky you, I haven't seen one M4. Played for a few hours today and found a herd of cows, probably 6-8 cows. Decided to leave the cows alone since I didn't need anything from them. Ran quite a distance away form the cows and stopped by a lake to drink and cool off. A few minutes pass and I notice that the herd of cows I saw earlier are slowly walking in my direction. I watch them and notice that they're slowly making their way towards me keeping a steady heading. Eventually they get to the lake and walk right through it until they finally 'sensed' me sitting there then spooked and ran away. Made me wonder how far they would've keep walking if I wasn't there to spook them. I ran a pretty good distance away from where I first saw them so I'm surprised I ran into them again, or rather they ran into me.

Played a few hours yesterday then logged in today and I was missing my back pack, pants, and jacket... V_V

I remember awhile back the M4 stopped spawning. Does anyone know if the M4 is currently spawning properly?

Do you guys know where I can find the most up to date DayZ wiki? I use DayzDB and DayZTV but have found that they're not entirely up to date and current. I've found items in .59 that aren't in either databases. I'm mostly looking to see what items are currently in game and and where to find them and which items have been removed.

Only a matter of time?? People are already duping them like crazy! Standard duper/hacker loadout: M4 with all attachments + Infinite M4 mag Grenades ... And that's about it lol Personally I only carry the mosin or AK101 just because I feel that the M4 has such a tainted persona to it now due to all the dupers and hackers. I don't think I've found a body with a legitimate M4 yet; and by legitimate I mean an M4 that isn't all decked out and/or is the the process of being kitted out with a standard 30/60 round mag. Whenever I see someone with an M4 I think "hacker/duper". Just like how most people associate the face masks with bandits. I know it's not always true and I'm sure there are legitimate M4s out there, that's just how I feel at the moment

Hey guys, Been reading the forums for some time and I keep running into posts where people confuse the variable helicopter crashes that spawn on server restart with the ones that are always in the same spot that spawn with the map. Below you will see the picture of both helicopters and what I know about them so far. Hopefully this will educate some people so that they'd stop confusing the crashes... cause it's pretty annoying. Variable helicopter crash Only 3 of these spawn with every server restart Their spawn locations are random and if you click http://dayz.gamepedia.com/Helicopter_Crash_Sites you can see the possible spawn locations for the crashes. These crashes are the only spots where the coveted M4s and its accessories can be found (Other than off of hacker/duper dead bodies). These crashes are also the only location where you can find grenades and flash bangs. (See above) Other various military gear (IE: Combat knives, ballistic helmets, FNX pistols and mags, etc.) also spawn here. Persistent helicopter crash There are also only 3 of these crash sites in the map. They are not variable and will always spawn in the same spot with every server restart. As of 0.48 stable these sites do not spawn any loot or gear. Hopefully this helped some people.

I was reading this topic and was like "wtf? The Forest has been out for awhile." Then I saw he post dates... This is a 5 month old revived thread!

Once the persistent helicopters start spawning loot, there's going to be mad server hoppers trying to find that SMERSH vest. ... and I'll be waiting in the bushes for them to hop onto my server :3

Hmm. My clan ran into a girl on our server the other day that was acting all nice and everything. Turned out she was trying to bait us and slow us down so that her bandit clan could catch up with us. We kept trying to get her to leave Berezino because it's not a safe spot and she kept trying to delay us. Long story short we ended up fighting her clan and we were held up in a building just like those guys were and her clan members were tossing nades at us just like they were. We happened to be holed up at devils castle though so they couldn't toss their nades up that high. We ended up killing them though and come to find out they all had the same outfits, with the same M4s and attachments, a crap load of grenades, and hacked M4 infinite mags. Seems like whoever you ran into used the same tactics as the hacker and duper clan we fought.

Top of the green mountain radio tower. From there you can look all around and see the smoke from the heli crashes pretty easy. PS. Sometimes you might log in dead because you fell through the floor though. PSS. The ladder also breaks your legs and make you fall too.

This has happened to me also, it's annoying but part of the development process I guess.

Go prone and drink, the bug only affects you if you're standing or crouching. Go prone and drink and you'll be safe.

Confirmed goats in Stable. Seems like they're victims to zombies just like all other animals.
